maybe I'm not understanding you correctly. Can you take out your SD card, put Madhi on the SD card and then reinstall it onto your tablet?

I read from a guide that you should backup those first 4 items. I'm not sure what else you can clean from the SD card though

You can quite safely delete all of these, provided everything is working as it should, personally I'd stick them all in my Android folder on my PC in case I need them in future, but they certainly don't need to be on your SD card.

thank you both!
You need the first one if you want to go back and radio s-on again. Hboot is not so important as it can be restored from an ruu if necessary.

Red triangle, recovery problem

Hi, I tried to root my friends htc wildfire but when I managed to get into recovery it showed something like this...

}
I initially managed to install the update while connecting the mobile to my laptop and upgrading the drivers on device manager.
but when I tried to go into recovery the option to install from sd card was missing.
I googled a lot but failed to find a proper way to root + change the rom. Did changing the drivers while connecting the phone to my laptop actually root the phone?
I successfully rooted my wildfire before but her wildfire was bought in China and seems to have a lot of apps missing such as market and so on + lately whatsapp wont install.
I never looked at the stock recovery but I'm guessing that is the stock recovery? Have you followed a guide here on how to install clockwork recovery?

That appened to me too.
because I installed a 2.2.1 froyo rom, and due to that, i was unable to reinstall newers rom versions. It kept the S-OFF, but kind off "broken". The problem was solved, using this tutorial! hope it will help U.
it was all about the formatation of the sd card in FAT32. I though format in the Windows XP ment FAT32, but it was't.

Stuck on Samsung screen for the second time. Please help

this is now my second phone that ended up struck on the opening screen. I rooted both with Odin and both worked fine. On the first phone I tried to use a font changer app and when I rebooted it wouldn't get past the opening screen. Same story on the new phone only this time I changed the font folder, rebooted and same thing. Plus when I try to flash from external sd the option isn't even there. I have a 64 card that says the format et fat. The only option my computer has I is to change it to ntfs. I have tried factory reset on recovery, no go. I could really use some good advise and would really appreciate it. Thanks

Please don't return your phone because of this.
ODIN back to stock (or rooted stock) and start over.
Use diskpart command line utility to format your card fat32 or format it from inside android.

Thank you first off. However I have no idea how to go back to stock in Odin and no idea how to change to fat 32 is that an application your talking about. Sorry first the noobness, this is my 4th phone and the only one I have had problems with. I am using my S2 and I have roms on my computer (have no net ) so I think if I could just get my card to 32 could just flash a new rom. Thanks again

Trekstor Surftab Xiron 10.1

Hello everybody,
I just bought this tablet and I was looking for a way to root it.
Anybody knows if there's a known way? Would the root method for Xiron 7 work?
Antutu says "Have root access = yes" so I've tried to simply install super su but it won't work and Root cheker says that the device isn't rooted :/

ok, I did it
I used Uberizer with the choice c - 16/17/18 (in that order, I was just shooting blanks and I succeed XD)
Now I have an another big problem...
This tablet have a really good 12gb of internal storage but it is definitely useless...
I can't use it to install apps and nor I can't use SD to install app! No way to move apps into one of the two mount point.
The problem is that internal is "emulated"
I've already tried app as Folder Mount, Mount2SD and Root External 2 Internal but with no success.
Someone know a way to enable my tablet to install apps to NAND Flash (preferred) or at least onto SD Card?
or even how to redistribute the NAND to the Internal Storage (all of it)? Like I did with my Cubot One.
Thanks!!
Same problem here. impossible to install any app on sd card using this tablet. Please help.
Nevermind didnt see 2# post. sorry

Need help. Any idea what causes of TWRP back-up failing.

Good morning.. maybe you can help me how to successfully back up my stock rom on TWRP 3.1.0HIMA, before I install custom rom. I keep on failing on 52% on backing up system image. I got a big space on my external more than 20gig.
Thank you in advance.

If this is the answer,so I need to use the first system image I backed up as read/write and RE-flash seperately to my data?
Is the SD card formatted to exfat? Fat32 doesn't support files that are bigger than 4gb and since some of the backup files are indeed bigger this will cause a failure of the backup process.
