messed up my fonts and need help. - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi guys i have a m8 with GPE rom installed. i was trying to change the system font and ended up using some bad apps that screwed up all my system fonts. i stupidly didn't back them up so now. can someone guide me on how to replace my system/fonts folder with the original ones from the ROM?
i tried using android commander but couldn't get it to recognize my phone.
thanks.

Keep backup of all files from /system/fonts and then you can change them to your liking. Just revert back to the backup to return to Stock.

M8 uses 3 more fonts than M7 .. they were there but not being used too much.
RobotoCondensed-custom.ttf (Same as RobotoCondensed-Regular.ttf)
Roboto-Thin.ttf
Roboto-ThinItalic.ttf
You can extract my packs from M7 using 7zip ... copy out Roboto-Regular and Roboto-Italic to a folder, rename them to above 3 and then add them back to the zip. That would make the M8 package complete otherwise you will see Roboto fonts in weird mixed places instead of the new one you are flashing.

Try formatting /data /system etc and then restore nandroid..
cm9 htc a310e
If the backup is on the phone, mount usb in recovery and copy it over from clockwork folder to pc.
Or just run an ruu. Or take the boot.img from it.
Its not monumental by any means.

[Q] Backup of rooted Stock rom not working HTC ONE V PrimoU

okay so guys, I rooted my htc one v PrimoU, that worked.
I made a back up, it worked to revert to it several times while I was trying to rom my phone.
I installed a few different kernels to get the MIUI rom working and it didn't really happen so I had to revert back to the back up several times.
one time it did work, but it couldn't connect to google play and I gave up.
so I wanted to use the back up to revert back to the rooted stock rom of the htc one v primoU but it was stuck on the "HTC ONE V Quietly something something"- bootup screen thingie... any help please?
if you have any questions ask them, I'll try answering them!
You will have to also flash the boot.img found inside the backup.open the backup using win rar and extract the boot.img and flash it.

Edit: the backup I made is with the recovery menu, and in it is a folder called TWRP>BACKUPS>FA283TV00807 and the files in there, well, none of the files in there are called "boot.img" or anything... could you please help me out some more?
I wish I could show you a screenshot but the forums wont allow me to do anything untill I reach 10 posts atleast.
The files are:
And-sec.vfat.win
And-sec.vfat.win.md5
Boot.emmc.win
Boot.emmc.win.md5
cache.ext4.win
cache.ext4.win.md5
data.ext4.win
data.ext4.win.md5
recovery.emmc.win
recovery.emmc.win.md5
system.ext4.win
system.ext4.win.md5
to be even clearer,my backup is not a file, it's a folder for some reason, and in it is another folder, and another one in there... and then you see the files in that folder
the path of the folders is "TWRP>BACKUPS>FA283TV00807" with TWRP being the main folder and FA283TB00807 being the folder with all the files in it.

Make a backup, transfer it to pc,open using winrar, there you can find a file named boot.img.
I hope this will clear some things up a little bit more, the recovery menu I use is the "Team Win Recovery Project V2.3.3.0"

FYI.. Boot.emmc.win is the boot.img
So instead of fastboot flash boot boot.img
you do fastboot flash boot boot.emmc.win
boot.img needed

if you flash recovery and/or rom. and it dosent work, and you can still get to recovery or download mode.
then you are still golden. just mount usb storage, load a new rom, wipe and try again or re odin push recovery

Extract bootanimation.zip from the original zip (dont extract the files in bootanimation)
Overwrite the on in your rom.
I did not install it through the zip. I was trying to include it in Virginity and I positively got a black screen. It's not the installer fault

It takes longer for my phone to boot up than it does for the animation to finish, so when it's done, it just loops the android text. With the original one-the one that was 625x380-the rotating circles would loop until my phone was done booting, and then the android text would appear

Is this the sense 7?
I was just wondering if this is the HTC Sense 7.0 or if it is just stock android. If it is stock android, will there be a Sense 7 ROM (if such a thing exists), and when will it be out by?

Edit: I just rooted my phone yesterday. Can I still flash this recovery? Will it unroot/wipe the data from my device?

Do I need to wipe my system, data and boot first? Even after wiping, it still could not find the file...
Also, after restoring the backup, will by bootloader still be unlocked? Can I root it again?
One more question: Does Android 5.0 still have the Ext. SD card write issue?
Thanks for reading
