Bootscreen HELP!!

PLZ PLZ PLZ can some1 help me with the bootanimation, I have the right file copied to Windows, its called : hTC_animated.gif
Now what is the problem?????
why cant i see it??
I am using Spike's ROM XperiLEO

check \HKLMN\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\StartupGif, change value to your file and give it a try

So the boot animation is .gif?

Hey thanx DrakenKorin, the funny thing is that my path ends at HTC
There isno fodler called 'HTCAnimation' anywhere???
Do I have to make one, if so, what do i set after that>?? there is a 'Startupanimation' folder though in HKLMN\Software\HTC
Can u plz help me??

and what happens if i delete a welcomehead.png and welcomehead..192.png

i cant find the new zimage please help

hi, i want to try and use android on my tp2. i need a german keyboard support but i cant find the new zimage an the other thing i need to copy it on my sdcard. i look every day on this sites http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/faq
and http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=RhodiumAndroid
i tried to get the files from http://glemsom.anapnea.net/android/htc-msm-android/ but the server is down and i dont now where i can get new files for my rhodium. i hope some one can make all of the files in to a zip folder and make a new upload.

Hi all,
I hope \ think this thread should go here , if not I guess they'll remove it somewhere else, any wayz
I wanna change the UI language to one that does not exist on the locale.
I would like to know how to do that? I know I have to pull some files using ADB and mayb use Eclipse?!
please help me if you have a clue regardinh what files should I change and what apps should I use?

I want to know if I can change the carrier name ?
Maybe somthing like the Pulldown Editor (He doesn't work on our device).

1- in rc1 as a .rbm file
Rsrc_S8500_Open_Europe_Common\System\Rsrc\Bmp\Black\VoiceCall.rbm
2- in ffs

I know these are relative stuff
Anyway....look in RC1 file only in rbm files or wait for Ho1od until he make them viewable
