Which sense apps work on GE? - One (M7) Themes and Apps

Hi, i have a stock htc one turned into a google edition 4.4.2.
I was wondering if any sense apps would work on GE. For example, tv.apk (found on play store) works perfectly (in combination with "htc service package"..is the new one, from m8). Any chance for stock browser, gallery, camera or music player?
Thanks

The Service pack and TV for the moment I think.

Having issues with music player and maps since FroYo

Hi there,
I´m not sure if this is the right sub-forum for this since this is my first post on this board.
Ok, so here is my problem:
I - proudly - own a HTC Desire and used to listen to the HTC music-player while using google maps navigation. On Android 2.1 it worked like a charm.
But then I updated to FroYo and since then it won´t run simultanously anymore.
What happens is the following:
I launch the music player
I launch the navigation app
When the first voice-output starts it mutes (or quits) the music player and won´t resume/reopen it automatically again
When I use a different music player it all work, again.
Also, when I use another navigation application (e.g. Navigon) the player keeps on working (but doesn´t mute...but I guess this is a Navigon problem).
A week ago I decided to root my Desire. For that I downgraded it to 2.1, again and used the ROM from ieftm. Unfortunately, I still do have this problem.
You may now ask "Why not use one of the other music players?".
The answer is: I "need" three points to be fullfiled by the music player:
Look nice (or at least not that crappy; for example...I don´t like the Astro player)
A working lockscreen-widget (this would eliminate the ³-player and DoubleTwist)
It should be possible to create a playlist-shortcut on the homescreen to be opened directly by this player
And...from all the players I tried the HTC player is the only one that has all this.
Anyway, I hope you guys can help me with my problem and answer some of these questions:
Has anybody an idea on how I could get maps/navigation and the music player working together again?
Anybody knows a music player that fullfilles all the points from above?
Anybody knows how I can set another music player to be opened with the homescreen-playlist-shortcuts?
Thanks in advance.

[APP]New Android Test Market, Music app and more

Yesterday there has been an accidental release of a new test market app and several other apps through it. You can find more info and a download link to those leaked apps here.
I tried to install the new music player, but no luck getting it to work. Currently running 2.3.3 JVK. When I ran the apk it asked if I want to replace the system music app, when I said yes it got installed. But still when I load the default music player its the same old one, no change. And there are no new shortcuts either. When I replaced the music player apk under /system/app and launch it I get a force close dialog for the new app. Let me know if any of you guys have any luck with it.
It runs fine on 2.2.1 but the streaming doesn't work nor does adding the Google acct.

only camera works on JVK here. The previous version of music works, this one doesn't, either crashs the app or the whole system.
note that the signatures used to sign this one are also different from the previous ones.
The previous version is also force closing. I backed up stock music player app with titanium backup and them uninstalled, I then installed the latest honeycomb music player which keeps force closing on me (am on stock jvk rom) tried uninstalling the latest music player and then revert back to stock, but titanium backup doesn't give me the option to restore even though it says I have 1 backup. I then resorted to the old honeycomb music player app which also force closes on me when I press play and now for some reason my titanium backup no longer shows the original stock app I backed up.
the above might seem a little confusing but an in a bit of a pickle and would like to restore the original stock music player. Currently using winamp and I hate not having the option to change track from the notification menu.
Anyone with any ideas please help.

[Q] Stock lockscreen player widget

Hello,
I've replaced the stock Samsung lockscreen with a custom one via WidgetLocker, but the one thing superior in the stock one was the music player widget which appears at the top of the lockscreen whenever the player is active.
Are there any equivalent widgets or any way to use the stock one? I haven't found other than the uglier big versions which are simply not pleasing to the eye.
There's a widget called phantom music and if I recall correctly, it hides itself when the player isn't in use. I haven't tried though so can't say whether it works well or not

Seems to work fine enough, even if it's not as nice as the stock TouchWiz one. I've seen it before in screenshots but nobody ever mentioned what it was called. Thanks.

Did you have to buy the app for it to work ? I tried the free version on market and it completely freaks out my Samsung stock music app, it starts skipping to next song in a rapid phase, causing my phone to slowdown, I had to kill the music app and uninstal Phantom to get it back in order. I did notice though that the paid one had support for more music apps, so maybe it is more stable ?

[Q] Flash player issues on One V?

Software version 1.56.401.2 (Latest update for my phone)
I have the latest update to Adobe Flash player 11, which is used by bbc iplayer, amongst other things.
Anything that uses Flash player, the adds in my browser, and the videos on iplayer, all get moving multicoloured lines across the content.
Other videos, ones I have downloaded and watch through MXplayer, play fine. Even Youtube works with not a glitch. Only things that use Flashplayer.
I've restored to factory version and then reapplied the update, but it still does the same thing.
Anything i can do to fix it?
HTC One V, stock rom, unrooted, still under warantee
I also see the glitches when using flash. Would be fine if that could be fixed. But I am bit skeptical about this. Hopefully in some future custom ROM.

HTC Music for Android 10

Hi all,
Apologies if this is the wrong place.
Has anyone created an apk for the HTC music app that can work with other android 10 devices?
I upgraded my m8 to an honor magic2 just over a year ago and continued to use HTC apps such as the music and gallery as I think they are just simply better than the stock on my honor. However, after a recent update to Android 10 on my magic2, every time I go to play a song from the HTC music app I get "unable to play this type of audio file".
My Mp3s work with the stock player and Google player but no longer works with the HTC music player. I have cleared cache/data, uninstalled and reinstalled apks but to no success.
Thanks
Mike

HTC Music has been discontinued as of the Android Oreo update.(same goes for Gallery)
It requires modifications, just to make it work on an HTC device running Oreo, and is still buggy at that.
I'd suggest finding and using an alternative and moving on.
If you insist on still trying to use it anyway, you could try the modified one from LeeDroids HTC 10 Oreo rom, though as I said, it's still gonna be buggy, as it's an outdated application.

That's a shame as it really is a decent player. Easy to use, good UI and layout and the visualizer with the added lyrics was a nice touch always helped settle my 1 year old.
I was using the HTC music 8.10.863696 apk from apkmirror which worked fine for me, wasn't buggy at all.
I will take a look at Leedroids as you mentioned thank you.
My HTC gallery 9.51.755029 still works fine with Android 10.
