Hi, is there anyway to require sliding an icon to open an app?
I would like to have the apps on the right hand side require being dragged to the left to open. I have a tendency of fat fingering the wrong app and sliding would probably help to alleviate that, also I think sliders are cool.

I changed my doing to 185 and now some apps don't take up the screen anymore like the attached image. Is there a way to adjust the app to make it fit? Anyone else play worldwar with custom doing and experienced this and found a fix? Or does it permanently have to stay like this?

By "doing" I assume you mean LCD Density, I dont think some apps will adjust to fill the entire screen but there is a thread on the subject, heres the link:

If I click on an app from the app drawer it goes to a grey screen and I see the apps from the app drawer for about 3-4 seconds. Do you guys know if this is bad enough to bring him back to the store? (sorry for the bad photo)

All AMOLED screen I used have the problem, but some more than other. If you feel its too much you should take it back, but if you bought it from 3rd party shop you might have to argue a bit for them to exchange it.
What is this side bar app and how can I disable it and customize it?
It just appeared suddenly. I have no idea how I activated it.

That's the multi window feature. Long pressing on the back button enables/ disables this feature.. You can run two apps simultaneousl... Browser on top and gmail at bottom atthe same time

I have never seen that and can not find any info out there about your problem.
Never seen it around an icon by itself, but you may check to see if "strict mode" is accidentally on in developer options.
