[Q] ZeroLemon Nexus 5 and Qi - Nexus 5 Accessories

Hello guys!
I'm kind of new at Qi chargers, since I have my Lenovo. I'm gonna have a Nexus 5 in next week, and first thing that I want to do, is to buy ZeroLemon case with additional battery. But also, I want to be able to use my Nexus Qi wireless charger. Aaaand the question is - does that charger will affect battery of ZeroLemon in any way? Will it destroy it somehow? I'm sure that it won't be able to be charged by it, so...
And 2nd question - can I charge my Nexus battery and ZeroLemon in the same time?
Thanks for the reply!

Pretty sure the Qi charger will NOT charge your Nexus 5, as the case is too thick and the additional battery is in the way.

Nope, you can't use Qi while the battery case is on because the external battery in the casr will be covering the Qi receiver in the phone.
While the case is on you will have to charge wired.

Ok, thanks for the answers! I guess I don't need Qi what about NFC? Will it work with case?

Of course not. You got a thick Battery blocking everything on the back of your phone. If wireless charging doesn't work what makes you think nfc will?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Yup, you're right... Hell, we'll see what will I choose, but I need to have My NFC working, so maybe I can use the case from time to time...

I don't use a case lol

(i9250) Andida 2100Mah Extended SLIM Battery (No Extended Backdoor Required)

Ran across this battery on Amazon while shopping for some more accessories. Found it cheaper on OBOStore. I have read around the web/forums about Andida as a company having good reviews/feedback. The packaging reminds me of the Anker battery packaging.
Prieview of what their packaging looks like:

Thats a possibility. I find myself never really using NFC. I often have it checked off.

I hear that. Android Beam is actually really cool if you have two Galaxy Nexus' around, or even a Nexus S. Still, if this battery is legit, it may be worth losing NFC. For now.
Just ordered mine from obo. Already received confirmation.

i have had an andida battery before, they usually don't perform as well as the stock battery in actual testing. check out http://batteryboss.org/ and look at the andida results.
Surprised no one called this "fake" yet considering its price is pretty suspicious for 2100 mAh.
It's around the same price of a Anker battery. I'm willing to give it a try until Anker releases something for us.

Verizon Wireless battery door and charging pad

Today I bought the Verizon Wireless charging pad and battery door. So for it works really good. I found them only in the store. It does give your phone a slight budge but not much and a little more weight.

Qcell battery question

So my phone stopped charging my battery. I bought the extended qcell 4800 mah and a wall charger. My question is I'm wondering with all this extra power, could I maybe use the voltage differently? Currently I'm on the domination rom and I noticed it has voltage control. Is there something neat I can do with this battery besides not charge my phone for 3 days? Lol

Voltage control is the voltage to the processor, you can play around with undervolting and underclocking to try and get it where you don't have to charge your phone for four days instead of three.

Here's some helpful information from @Mr. Struck over at AF about the Zero Lemon. Read through the thread, sounds like ZL is a good option as well. I can not speak intelligently on either

Largest Battery With Stock Size

As the topic says =p what is the largest mah and best battery that does not require or need an extended case. By this I mean the same physical size as the stock battery but more mah. I've seen a lot of stuff around and on eBay mention no need but it's sketchy info. Any input??? Tired of this old 2100mah stock battery.

I've tried a few of those eBay batteries with horrible results. Couldn't get them to hold a charge. Seller sent a few new ones, same issues. Seems their just not made the same.

I think 2300 or 2400 is the biggest you'll get without making the phone bigger. I had a 2300 on my S2 but bought a 4800 mah for my S3. Two full days without charging, I love it.

Well the first one is your only one that actually states that you don't need a new back. Cool, technology is awesome... Especially if that 3800 doesn't need a special back.
I'm tempted to buy the 3800. Just to see lol. It's cheap anyhow if it's garbage.

Black ONEPLUS ONE Power Bank

Got this in the mail yesterday
Feels great in hand it feels like the back of my oneplus but its doesn't feel exactly the same its a little smoother
Too lazy to get my other camera so can't take a photo of the the pack next to my phone so added a photo of it next to my tpu case
Photo with the charge doctor shows the charge rate with the screen on and charging using official oneplus charge cable
The unit has no buttons u shake it to get the battery leds to light up
Unit will charge up to 2amp but if you connect 2 devices it only charges them at 1amp each which is a bit if a downer
Still happy with the unit tho

Another thing to note
Power bank doesn't support thru charging
In other words if your charging the unit you can't be charging another device while the bank is charging which sucks
If I had to choose again I would choose a xiaomi 10400 or if i wanted to charge 2 devices the 16000 as they don't have any of these problems
