Which Rom?

Hello one X users,
I have just switched from hd2 to one x and I couldnt find a proper rom to install.
As a user I do like the hardware of htc phones they are solid and sleek design but i couldnt love htc sense...
I want to install a rom which is basic features of Android but htc sense...
Which rom should I load?

There are plenty of similar threads out there.
Please use the search function and try out the ROMs yourself. Nobody can tell you what you will like the most.

Sense JB ROM?

Is anybody working on a sense JB based ROM at the moment or is there one out there that I may have missed that I can test run?

I don't think your supposed to post this here, but there is a post somewhere in the general section for One V talking about it.
On a side note: A lot of people, I believe at least, are waiting for it to be port to a device with a "not so different" screen then ours or more similar hardware.

HTC wont be releasing an official JB rom for the OneV but eventually, they will release something similar enough that we can port. We have no hardware limits, like the wildfire S does/did so the sky is totally our limit

The one x+ shipped with sense jellybean I will try to learn ROM porting this Christmas after I learn kernels

please, port the camera from sense!
I hate sense - it looks ugly and old fashioned! But the camera would be welcome.. I miss it.. the one on PA ( and I guess all JB roms) sucks..

You can get it from flashing the CM10 rom which is what I did

i think he's talking about 4.1.2 with Sense. i mean i don't see the point of having a htc without Sense.

Then use a viper ROM, they are sense based

HTC has not started its work on 4.1.2 for the HOX -- reliable source's tweets.

[Q] When will we see sense 5 roms?

There are some sense 5 roms out at this moment , for the HTC One, I was wondering if these will be ported to the One X and about how long it would take, I am a huge fan of it and it looks amazing,

In other words : right before it gets officialy released?

Probably. This is just my opinion here but why put all the time and effort into porting it from a completely different device when HTC are working on bringing sense 5 to our one x.
What would make sense to me is that devs will wait for a leaked sense 5 base for our device then work from that

Yes, but it will take some time until all new Sense 5 tweaks are ported, no ETA for now, just be patient and use some other stock rom for now
