Is it possible to adjust the transparency of the built in sense clock widgets?
I hate how the background changes from light to dark as the day goes on. I would like it to be transparent like on the lockscreen.

I presume I need root for that to be able to write to the system files?
I haven't rooted yet. I'm not too sure whether to or not as for some reason, I'm expecting to have to send the phone back at some point. Everyone I know who has had an HTC recently has had to send them off for repair. Customer service is not meant to be great either!
Love the phone so far though, no problems yet!

Reboot- phone powers off fully and then boots up.
Hot reboot- phone remains on and reloads configuration files. (Ie build.prop init.d init.rc etc)
someone else may be able to give a more detailed description

A hot reboot means the shell restarts, but the file system remains active.

Hot reboots are typically used when you install a custom status bar icon, mods, and other things pertaining to the shell.

Confusion.
Alright, so I can use hot reboot when i modified some system files while the phone was on, like build.prop or anything like that and reload those files to apply the mods without actually shutting the device down? Sounds cool! Who invented this idea? That guy deserves a thanks!
Hi all.
This is my first phone with nfc so I would like to get some suggestions on what app is good to share files between phones with nfc, and if the other phone must have same app etc.

Try SuperBeamhttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.majedev.superbeam. It's only needed on your phone, but makes it really easy to share via nfc

Completely OT, but in answer to your question, that'll depend on both the banks and the carrier's. It's taken ages to get to where it is in the US and we're still a long way behind them from an infrastructure point of view.

Any idea what the TV remote app is called? I'm guessing it should just be called "TV", but I can't find it anywhere.
What is the best way to change the font? I have tried several apps from the Playstore and none of them work despite them saying that they work on rooted devices, which I have.

Are u getting the red light when charging? If no, then you will need to delete a file in your /sys/etc/intd folder that goes like 99test something..delete it and restart..all should be ok..
there's a hunch that this issue could be related to the hboot..have u updated ur hboot to the latest...updating should solve this issue too
