[Q] Ultimarom asp for sprint galaxy s3 - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I want to know if anyone would know where I could find this Rom for my sprint galaxy s3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32168185&nocache=1&z=6603827904909849 please help me either find it or port it over so I can use it with my phone please

Have you tried searching for it using the search tool? If you couldn't find it, then, I don't think its been ported yet.

I would also love to be running this rom.
Hopefully someone will port it soon

Sprint:CIFS.ko??

Does anyone know where I can get CIFS for a sprint galaxy nexus?
Why not just flash a new rom such like aokp? As I know it seemed to be rom specific so it will be less likely for you to find one if you do not have one shipped with your rom.

[REQUEST] Samsung S III Keyboard

I have been browsing around for a ported keyboard from the S III for my SP GNEX and have not had any luck. Has anyone else seen one or can this be ported over? I love the style and all the options it has on the S III. Thanks for the help!!
BUMP for visability... Hoping someone with knowledge will see this. There is some interest as this has been viewed many times.

It may not be possible but I cannot question that. Anyway like said above, I'm in for trying new things too.
Bump means or basically is letting people get aware of this topic by bumping it to the front/top. Its fine to do once every couple hours or so many over day by one person. Although if others help bump it makes it equally easier.

Threads are displayed in the forum by most recent. So whenever someone replies the thread goes back to the top of the thread list. So a "bump" back to the top.
I love keyboards and thus I support this. Samsung really integrates their stuff together like Sense... so I don't think its as easy as ripping the apk. Typically with past HTC IME keyboards had to be flashed through recovery to include all the proper files and placement.

I don't know much about these stuff, but can't somebody with galaxy s3 can just take out the apk of the keyboard?

Why Samsung keyboard ? Samsung English keyboard is really ****ty which could not do simple typo correction. The best was consistently lousy from galaxy s2 to galaxy s3 ...
Try typing this sentence with Samsung keyboard
" Samsung keyboard always stupid ! " , compare this to android stock keyboard.

I've been looking everywhere for an S3 keyboard port. Was hoping it was in the S3 Touchwiz addon pack, but see barely any mention of it.
I love the "handwrite" feature built in .. whether I'd use it or not
Madphone, the maker of the S3 addon port would probably be the best candidate to ask about this-- if he reads this or if anyone wants to hit him up.
There was actually a huge improvement from the SII & SIII keyboards.
I am an avid swype user but Samsung has integrated a swype like function into the keyboard. Also the handwrite feature is something I'd like to have.
Thanks for the input everyone. Hopefully we can keep this near the top and get this going!

Actually to people coming from Samsung devices in the past, they tend to like it better than the stock keyboards...

[Q] Porting ROM

Hi guys, I've read through other threads but I believe my case is very different and felt I should ask. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 Wifi and I really want to put Kit Kat (4.4.2) on the device but after days of searching, it seems like there has not been a roll out for it yet, even for just the Wifi version. So (please tell me if I'm wrong), I thought maybe I could take a Kit Kat ROM (even stock) from another device such as the Galaxy Note 10.1 and port it to this device. I'm a developer but not for Android. Is this possible?
Or maybe can you point me to some beta version of Kit Kat for this device? Is there any way to get it?
I'm not a dev, but porting cm I think is not possible, I wanna say it has to be built from source.
And flashing a ROM for a different device will only leave you with a brick

You can try anything you want. Who knows, you might even be the creator of a new operating system. But then again, you might eventually take your brick to the recycle center. One will not know until one tries.
However, why not just wait for Kit Kat and let the "professional" developers at Samsung do the work for the P5210. I am sure it is not that far behind the others.
galaxy tab 3 10.1 should get kk4.4.2 soon, I think.
just be patient.

There's no reason to go lower than LK3. Mind if I ask why you want that old ICS crap ROM? Which was completely terrible on the S3.
I don't want the rom just wanted to know why it was completely abandoned

Most likely, there's no reason to dev on old releases.
