There is an app called Flashlight Alerts and it does exactly what you are asking for. Works great on my N1 but it does cost 2$.

Is there a way to make the LED (preferably the front LED) flash when a call comes in? If not what is the best app out there and is there one that supports front LED flash notifications?

I am using a Moto G5 phone with a CCTV app installed on the phone my problem is the notification that I receive from the CCTV camera alarm is received with the same sound that I have for my two Email accounts.Does anyone know if I can make the notification from my CCTV camera sound different to the Email sounds as in the settings on the phone there is only one notification setting and both my Email and CCTV notification's come through on this so I don't know if I have received an alarm or an Email.Can anyone help me PLEASE??? Theres 3 ways to do this
1 - Is there an option within the app itself to change notification sound? If no goto number 2
2 - This is for advanced users only - Decompile the app and change the notifications settings code - If you are going how on earth do I do that goto number 3
3 - Use a 3rd party app to control notifications - for example (not tested) NotifiCon
If there's no option to configure the CCTV notification then it will be using the default which is in settings -> sounds & notification -> default notification ringtone.
It sound like your email accounts are also configured to use the default but you can change this by going to settings -> sound & notification -> App notifications -> Email -> App settings -> Click on your email accounts -> inbox sound & vibrate -> sound
These options are taken from a G4 but I think they're the same for the G5.

Hello. for apps third parts, like whatsapp, the notification led doesn't work. it works in calls, sms..... in whatsapp the led is set to white and the led is activated in settings. can anyone help me? thanks
I still can't believe this isn't already part of the native Samsung Camera app, tested on the S9+ and S22.
When taking a timer mode rear camera shot, the iPhone and Google Pixel cameras will blink the flash LED as a countdown and shutter release indicator. The Samsung S series doesn't do anything with the flash LED. I don't want the flash on and I can't hear the shutter sound in noisy outdoor settings where I usually use the timer mode for group shots.
My secondary feature request that I am looking for is intervalometer (Interval timer), which I see several 3rd party Camera apps do have this feature.
Does anyone know of a camera app that works on the S22, supports all the rear lenses and can blink the flash LED for the timer mode?
