+1 on Next Launcher. I am a fan. Bought it the day it was released. I do keep Nova and switch to it once in a while to see what's new, but I prefer Next.
PS. Where is the poll?

I'm split between the AT4 and the Mark19. I guess it all depends on what I am trying to do with the launcher.

Nova Launcher went to it after using Launcher Pro for years

I use Google launcher with unicon nothing buggy or bulky here
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

I'm fine with stock launcher too

I used Nova forever until I started noticing a home button lag. I can't remember if this was on stock lg roms, but I know for sure it happens I aosp roms...at least on my device. Apex didn't have the home button lag and my device feels snappier. So I've been running Apex for a couple if months.

Long time nova launcher user but the stock launcher has grown on me.

KK Launcher was really good but I always comeback to LGHome as its the only one that allows custom app arrangement in app drawer. Also its not so bad unlike ie Touchwiz. LGHome allows changing of themes and icons, so I'm am satisfied.

Nova prime for years now

Nova. Because it works on ICS and I can swipe my icons to launch applications.
ADW Ex because I paid for it.
Go Launcher EX. Endless customization... Used Zeam and ADW for the longest time prior.

Thirded on the Nova launcher. Because I'm on ICS, but also because it's more featured than trebuchet or touchwiz, but faster and more nimble than apex.

Apex...
Extended Dock Feature...Which I like Next is Go Launcher... And then ADW EX...
All three are loaded on My Roms...Apex runs the best...IMHO...But I like all three...
Touchwiz, still haven't found anything faster. Love go launcher but it still lags on the app drawer.

I'm still rocking Launcher Pro Plus. For me, its faster the GO Launcher and far less battery drain.
I tried ADW, but whenever I show my phone to somebody who isn't an Android geek ,they manage to screw something up like making the app tray vanish.
I'm still waiting for a *true* daily ICS ROM that I don't have to put up with app install issues or dramatically poorer battery life than GB, so I haven't tried Nova or Trebuchet.
has anyone tried the ported launcher from the Sony Xperia S its kick ass
running CM9
adw ex; i like apex, but adw is faster. nova not as configurable as either (no swipe up/down)
apex, you can use 190dpi and adjust the margins to use the entire home screen.

It really depends on your preferences, I find stock the smoothest but Nova the most customisable.
Are there any launcher similar to go launcher's folder option within the drawer? That's something that I really like and have only found on go launcher.

what about Chameloen?
Personally I don't like Chameleon, you can't add app short cuts on the home screen, widgets are limited and you can't create folders. Granted you can create your own widgets using HTML 5, however this doesn't solve the problem to people who don't know HTML 5. Neither can you use normal widgets as you would on a normal launcher. I suspect there will be more widgets in the future, but for 10usd it isn't worth it.
So Launcher 8 when it come.

Holo is a bit dull but Holo HD is on par with Apex/Nova but is much faster with less scrolling glitches. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobint.hololauncher.hd
The HD version is made for JellyBean whereas the regular version is for ICS and lower.
I've been using nova prime and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm bummed that go launcher doesn't work well on the nexus 7. Hopefully they'll figure it out.

Best performing launchers?

I recently switched to Nova launcher and it seems like its overall smoother than Apex launcher which is what I've been using previously. What launchers have given you the best performance on ICS.
I'm also trying to figure out how to get other governors that would help with performance without killing my battery for AOKP Milestone 6.

In my experience, apex is far smoother than nova. Nova was very unresponsive for me.
I looove apex or stock launcher

I really don't get the Apex/Nova rave on our device. Sammy gives us the stock launcher, you just have to switch to it. I only use Nova because I got it when it was on sale, not worth the regular price in my opinion.

Apex just gives me a "Stock +" experience. I don't even use as many features as it has. Mainly just to use home button as app drawer(when on home screen), and have app/folder options in the scrollable dock.

Best performance is stock launcher for me.
I have purchased and tried out both Nova and Apex Pro launchers. After using them both for a while I settled on Apex launcher. I am on a rooted stock jellybean firmware, Poland rollout. Both launchers are very similar in terms of overall design and behaviour but i chose Apex for the following reasons;
1.Fewer ui and app drawer redraws this is possibly because of the keep in memory feature which is not there in Nova. This might consume more memory but for me the resulting smoothness is worth it.
2. Unread email count, to put this into perspective understand I have three Gmail accounts set up on my phone. In Apex I get the total unread count across all 3 accounts whilst Nova gives me total unread for only the main account associated with my device.
The one thing i missed in Apex from Nova was the import homescreen feature as i had to set up my widgets all over again in Apex. That said i am sticking to Apex for now.
GoLaucher Ex is now unistalled from my S3 until further notice but it seems to still work reasonably well on my S2

Poll: which launcher do you use for the Optimus G Pro

This phone is a beast! And it has many features that other phones lack. So, a particular launcher for one phone might not be best for our phone.
So, which is it? Which one are you using?
(in no particular order)
GO
Nova
Apex
ADW
Smart
Action
NEXT
None
Unsure
Other: please list which one...
If you have a strong feeling for or against one or more, please tell why. And yes, I have read that one of those named above is possibly a spyware program for a non-US entity.
I have used NEXT, Apex and Nova but I keep going back to the stock launcher. Not a ton of extra features but has always been nice and snappy for me.
I like Nova. It's smooth and has great features. It's lacking in the scrolling effects though.

+1 for Nova, I've loved that launcher for a long while. I've been running the google now launcher and have to say it's pretty good. I usually like a bit more icons on my screen but all in all I like the Now launcher.
I've been a Nova user for years now, I've got paid versions of all the major launchers but Nova's what I've settled on lately.
Since I got my M8, I've been using Sense and I really like it, with one really irritating feature missing... you can't fling icons/widgets off the homescreens. You also can't change icons to individual custom ones (easily) but oh well.
I don't really use Blinkfeed or whatever, but I think the Sense launcher is pretty good on its own.
