Hi guys. Am in UK near Manchester. Running latest omega rom on 3 network. Have latest baseband c2 i think. Just wondering if 4g is gonna just work out of the box so to speak. Its enabled in mobile networks option in the settings. 3 mention some sort of carrier update that must be installed? Anyone have this?
Thanks.

Anyone heard anything about MoDaCo switch being ported to our phones? I know there's a variant for GSM One's, but haven't seen anything for CDMA.

Haven't heard anything either. Wish we could get it on our variant though.
I asked the same question, searched a ton and came up with nothing.

I was going to post this dame thing. I wonder if the only difference would be changing mount points within the apk.

Fair to assume this isn't going to happen?

Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to set LTE only for the network connection after the 4.4.2 update.
On preivious verisions I could just go to the service menu and set it but that does not seem to work anymore.
And under network selection it only gives me cdma and gsm.
Anyone know how I can lock it into LTE by chance after the update?

How did you get to it?
The code wasn't working for me.
I got advanced signal status and can use that for device info to change it and it does work for me that way though.

You can use any T-Mobile Wifi tethering method. The m919 and the m919n are basically the same.

I think that to fix this issue you have to flash a rom that bypasses it... still looking into it....

I did finally get mine to connect. I updated the drivers on my comp, it wasn't connecting with the stock drivers. I chose manually, which drivers to use.
I don't get it

Any method. For instance, my modem and my APN are t-mobile and I have an m919n phone with metro as my carrier.

I unlocked my T-Mobile Note 2 and successfully changed carrier to Straight Talk using AT&T cell. My question is once the Kitkat update rolls out, do I have to install a T-Mobile rom or an AT&T rom? Or is there any alternative? Please advise.

Doesn't matter. AT&T or N7105 are fine. Stick to the T-Mobile modem and the rest is details. The AT&T & N7105 communities are fairly active.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
Am I interpreting this correctly, that you can just flash the att rom for a N7105 on the t889?

This morning I had some problems with my phone, so I had to reset the phone and reinstall everything. Thus far everything is good, I am more interested to know about AT&T rom on note 2, can we install it?
Sent from my SGH-T889 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
as long as the rom doesn't flash a new bootloader or modem (only a few do). you can flash at&t or n7105 roms
Nice to know... Thanks

Hey everyone I have the ATT version with tmobile service...it won't let me use my hotspot. Is there something I need to do I have the e98010p model. And about to put Pac man on it to see if that fixes it.any help would be appreciated

On other handsets, rooting and the Wifi Teather for Root Users app has worked for me in the past on T-Mobile. Tethering is functional after flashing this device to a new rom, but that is on Vodafone and it didn't work before that. But American carriers might work differently.
