Is there any reason ROMS customized for the Note Pro 10.1 couldn't work on the Pro 12.2?

I am looking for custom roms for note pro 12.2. I know this is wrong forum as this is for Tab pro but when i checked Note pro forum for a customer ROM, there is only one available. I am just wondering if that simply because there is no development for note pro or Tab ROM's are compatible?
I know that tab pro is separate animal with no S pen but still wanted to check. If there is no ROM available i will go for Tab pro instead of Note pro. I am not sure if S pen worth custom ROM development. Please share your comments.

Anyone know if the Tab A 10.1 out performs the Tab Pro 8.4 other than lower resolution? Debating on replacing my sons broken Tab Pro with another Tab Pro or a Tab A 10.1. Any knowledge on this would help, thanks.

Since it look like the specs for the tab pro 8.4 and 10.1 are thr same besides screen size can i install a rom for the 10.1 onto an 8.4 without any issues?
