[Q] SD-Card Won't update.

Hy , i have a problem with my wildfire. Whatever files i put on the phone , or pictures i made ..... i mean everything i pun on the card , and then try to download them in the pc , they will not appear there , i can see the older files but the new one .... no. :| Just after reseting the phone the files appear. This is very annoying because i usually make photos and then download them. And i can't just restart the phone each time i make a picture

You can't see them on your Removable Disk Drive when connecting it to the PC or when your browsing with your phone( aka gallery )?
If you can't see the photos when connecting the phone to pc it might be a virus. I recall having problems loading photos from any folder even though I had no viruses, it was just some random error that made thumbnails load very slow even though the system was snappy and seemed to have no problem whatsoever.
It may also be an sd-card error or something and I would suggest to try backing up the files you need and then format it ( fat32 )
Re-add them and check if the problem persists.
ps: Don't use a fast format, let it do a normal one to delete all the data.

I just want my photos back
I used many softwares such as handy recover and wondershare photo recovery and etc . . .
but none of them work

it is not possible, sorry man...

Do the recovery tools not work, or do they not find anything? If they don't find anything it means bytes are lost, normally a format only erases the index table, but the data is still there, recovery tools try to make sense of that data.

try as harddisk of computer . Plugin to computer as store mod . Looking any programe to recover file as : recover my file , ... etc . Using this programe to find in to driver that SD card of your phone.

[Q] "low storage space" (but actually not?)

When I boot up my phone, the first thing it says that there's not enough space to complete some kind of action(see attached picture below). I have more than 2GB free space on sdcard and almost 6GB free space on external sd, even in file system root I have 1gb/2gb space.
I have cm10.
what does it mean? what does it want? and why does it says that? and what "action" does it talk about??
I wouldnt care if it will be just this message,but since it started this, the phone seems to be more unstable(sometimes it loses wifi/cell signal,have to press lock button 3 times to wake up,and stuff..), so I decided to make a clean reinstall anyway, but it would be great if some of u had any ideas what causes this

I've experienced something similar. I use to mount the storage on my win7 laptop and use to copy/delete files from them. Suddenly it was not letting me copy anymore telling me that the storage is out of space and when i saw it it showed free space which got me confused.
So i went ahead and set windows to show all hidden files and OS files. On the storage there was a "recycle bin" having 1.6 gb of data . I deleted the folder and all was fine.
Maybe your's is a completely different issu,e but you can check for the above.

hm, I set it to show all hidden and "protected os files" (I have windows 8 on my netbook), but no "recycle bin" can be seen.. :S maybe I'm missing some more options to show that, or looking in the wrong place

[Q] HELP !! cant transfer files !!

hello everyone new member on xda , got my tab 3 8.0 yesterday and cant transfer any files from pc to it ... connecting to pc and coming up as media device , not mass storage ... but even media device dosen't let me do anything .. ive done a bit of research and apparently mass storage isn't available no more but surely i should be able to still transfer over as media device .. its coming up with "can not do as device has stopped working or been disconnected" .. or something along them lines any help here would be greatly appreciated , thanks

Download and install Samsung's Kies program on your PC. It should let you do what you want.

Problem copy files to int and ext SD

After 24 hours of search through the web I could not find a solution, many ideas but nothing seems to work, cause I can't find the exact reason:
What is the case? I try to copy a .zip to my device, the process starts and finishes after around 60%, I see the file on PC and device but the size does not fit (it is BIGGER!), md5 also. After a while the file vanishes completely and there is nothing......
R/W permissions should not be the prob, cause I can install apk, can delete files also and paste SMALL files unto the device (as it seems).
Someone with a little help, even without solution I would solve it by myself if I only knew, what's going on. THX :good:
Edit: Tried to connect with Kies3 and it started an update to latest firmware and Kies also failed to install something to storage

Update External storage
Well, internal works fine, but all files copied to ext sd still vanish after reboot and even after disconnecting usb from pc.
