LMT Launcher - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Im picking up my one tomorrow.. Just wondering if anyones rooted and removed the nav bar... And if so how does LMT launcher run on the device? Its a shame the softkeys take up so much space

I would say it's a shame HTC logo takes so much space

Yeah very true.. There isn't much point of it being there apart from keeping in line with the design of the older m7

I am curious about this as well. Has anyone successfully hid the on-screen buttons and replaced with something like LMT or GMD Auto Hide?
I'd love to have all 5" of screen to use!

I'm on ARHD, using gravity box to hide the soft keys and LMT for pie. Works a treat. Only gripe is I still get the menu overflow bar in places and none of the ways I've found to remove it works.

I believe widgetlocker will do that for you.
I will give that a try thanks! I looked all the forms for a mod, it would better than an extra app sitting my app drawer.

Not for the lock screen it doesn't, only the home screen!

[Q] Widgetlocker Fullscreen without ICS Navbars

Anyone care to share how I would be able to remove those navbars at the bottom and just use the slider? I want the lock screen as simple as possible. Thanks.

I just emailed the developer about this yesterday and he said it was a planned feature in a coming update for rooted devices.

Dope stuff. I think I'll write him an email also. It would be nice to hide em. Plus a couple of instances I have been able to bypass by quickly tapping misc nav buttons... Thanks.

Google Now shortcut

Don't know if this has been posted but I noticed it and it's pretty convenient.
Just drag the navigation bar up...

Swiping up from any screen launches Google Now
It's the same gesture used by WebOS for "Home"
The real wonder of this feature is once our devs get their hands on customizing this 2nd "launcher". I can't wait to be able to launch whatever by dragging the navigation bar like this.
And people still think hardware keys are the way to go?

Anyone recognise this status bar icon?

The furthest left icon just appeared today with no explanation.

I got all excited as it kinda looks like there is an update for my phone...but that's not the case.
There is nothing in the notification pane when I open it, so has anyone got any idea what it is / how I can find out what it is?

Maybe some rogue app is causing this !
It is definitely caused by an installed app. HTC's notifications are always on right. Check apps you're running.
Found it!
It was notification toggle.
The app updated and suddenly added something to my status bar, with no explanation! Other than that it's a great app...
Thanks for your help guys

I can no longer change my keyboard!

So I used Custom Navigation Bar to swap my back and recents buttons around. I think doing this might have disabled the keyboard switch icon that comes up in the navbar. Anyone have this issue?

That definitely is what caused it.

There's a switch inside that app to turn it on and off you probably actually shut it off
Thanks for that! Found it and all is well. I really appreciate the help.
