can we auto-upgrade to google play store from the android market here ? .. Is there any kind of issues with system apps updates ??

yes you can update. there will be no issue with system apps only icons will change and some customizations.

any known bugs ?

what is differece between lite and full version?

lite version will only patch some existing system apks leaving your apps untouched while full version will delete existing system folder and reinstall whole system.

yes you can but I used CWM

yes, you can. Make a nandroid backup first. If there were bugs please report here and I will sort it out for my V2 release. thanks to all who have tried and liked it.

I ported it from some chinese developer, his name is not clear! It was in chinese and this was the only rom I could see that had a color os port working well.
Install from your recovery.

Hi...
ROM tested working fine, only question is how to install Play store and Google apps. Please give GAAPS link or regular JB GAAPS zip will do the job.
I m only testing this ROM. Not using it as daily driver because it is JB based. Any way great work...credit to you and to your unknown Chinese friend....

SD card not detecting. I don't have a memory card. How to make default SD card as internal

@maxritz any new updates for this rom?
just loved it and mostly i love the feature of guest mode.try to port new firmwares or any updates.

What about Google Apps. I flashed one GAAPS zip and was able to install Google Apps. Problem is when i reboot device, it reboot at least 3 times to get back to ROM.
Any idea about the issue.
Testing it as daily driver, please share your experience about the work of maxritz.

yes , i have also faced the issue of booting.what i feel is ...it is due to xposed framework...coz when i uninstall the xposed....the rom is running fine and smooth....
yes it is based on 4.2 version but ....i can say, this is the best rom ...and it can also be more better if some bugs will be removed.
Some improvements which i have done in my phone is
-volume is much loud,i had reduced it through engineer mode.
-xposed installed but few modules are installed...there is no use of gravitybox.
-flashed jb gapps.
-copied some apps from different rom like calender,calculator,music,email etc.

I tried flashing this ROM, no issues, but from the first boot was all in Chinese. Is there something we can do about it, make it english? Screenshots would help.
Running LeWa OS and not very happy with it. I might flash the one with Hive as I need more RAM available on my phone. Thanks in advance

@huaweichina your ROM is quite big and why is the name 4.8.17 when the latest version on the MIUI website is 4.8.8? And your ROM is about 30MB bigger than the official one.

No problem man. Everything alright.

So, first look is pretty good, gapps work, whatsapp wasnt tested yet, camera works, media works, scrolling performance isnt the best but keep in mind, that we are using a Huawei Ascend P6...
I'll post here later after everything is set up!

That's because he added ****load of Chinese apps and did not tell us.
English as default is just bait. Ignore this ROM.

Where did u downloaded it from? (country)
Somehow they don't allow german eMail adresses at the board, so maybe they block downloads from germany?? C'mon.... we are not North Korea or Iran. Could you pls upload the File as a mirror?

it seems like cm has server issues. i get the errors too on my pc and now also on my phone, and most of the other amami nightlies can also not be found. i guess there is nothing else to do than try again later.

How about trying Pac-rom? It is cm-based, and has a lot of cool features. I believe the 20141231-nightly is 4.4.4 final

First i want tell every body.... I follow this web (XDA) about 3 year... But this is the first my thread ... Because i bad english and when i made a account in forum i can't made a new thread

2-3 week ago, i saw have a update android 6.0 for ze500kl but don't have for ze500kg (i use this phone)
So i find how to apply this update to ze500kg and try everythings to made it work... But hopeless and i give up
And this day,new idea come to me.... I try this.... Thank god it work perfect.... And now my phone (ze500kg) running 6.0 perfect same the brother ze500kl )

Tutorial to update:
Root ur phone and use flashsify (download on play store) and backup recovery then move to "memory stick" or upload to drive (save ur recovery )
Backup everythings of ur phone
-First download last fimware android 5.0 and 6.0 of ze500kl and put it in "memory stick"
-Download stock recovery of ze500kl: https://github.com/sabpprook/android_device_asus_ze500kl/releases
-Boot ur phone in fastboot mode and flash recovery of zen500kl: Type : fastboot flash recovery "name_of_recovery".img
-Boot to recovery mode and then choose apply full update-->Then choose fimware 5.0
-Reboot
-Boot to recovery and then choose fimware 6.0
-Reboot
Enjoy with new rom ^^

First apply update rom 5.0 of ze500kl
Then flash stock recovery your phone backup by flasify.... Then apply update 5.0 of ze500kg... Done

Thanks for the notice , if the IMEI will not be lost after upgrading to 6.0.1 {ZE500KG} -_-
