Hi all,
I have a problem when selecting override widget locality in that i cannot get the widget to give me the option of selecting the timezone for the city i want automatically. I manually changed the timezone for the widget once, and now whenever i try to change the location for the widget it defaults to that manually selected timezone, not the timezone for the new location.
I cant find the automatic timezone selection in the dropdown... Is there one..?
I have removed and replaced the widget but that has not made any difference.
Any help appreciated,
Cheers

So I have a question. I've got two accounts on my email tab on TP2. My gmail and my hotmail. Both are set to check but the only one that ever checks unless I manually tell it to check is gmail. Anyone else have this problem?
Open your Windows Live app.
Tap Menu.
Tap Options
Tap Sync Schedule
Set accordingly (you probably have this set to Manual at the moment)
Tap Done
Tap Done
Thanks muchly
Not sure why this is, but just got my Desire, exported calendar from outlook to Google, then sync'd phone and imported appointments. When I open an appointment and want to move it, I tap menu, and the only options I get are: Add reminder; Delete event; Share vCalendar. Why can't I edit them?? How can I make it so I can??!! Is it something on the phone, or do I need to change settings on Google calendar on my laptop? HELP!! Thanks!
I had the exact same problem until I installed the new T-Mobile update and now "edit" as appeared on the menu. Could be a coincidence, but it is now there!
I have a problem with the Sence Calendar - in the Settings menu, there is no option to disable the default Reminder (it gives you options from 5 minutes to kne week, but no "None" option).
As a result, every time I want to insert a new appointment, I have to disable the reminder manually.
By the way - on my last windows mobile version of HTC Sence, there was a "None" option.
Any solution?
guys
when i go into a meeting event on my phone that i created on outlook, it shows correct time zone. But if I hit the icon for Edit, it shows me the greenwich time zone. Even if i change the greenwich to eastern, it still shows incorrectly
How do I change the default for it to always use eastern time zone for everything? In settings/data & time, i have automatic set and it's pulling correct values. In calendar settings -general prefs, the home time zones shows correctly too
Thanks
Can somebody help please, my weather app never seems to update, it always says no weather data available but it has my location at the bottom, then when I unlock it says 'to see current weather, tap to turn on auto sync' yet it it set to 3hr intervals. When I click tap to sync now it works
To check it is setup correctly, go to Settings > Accounts & sync > Weather. Make sure that both tick boxes are selected and choose the update schedule you want (I use 1 hour).
(Optional) In addition to this, go to the weather application, open the menu and select 'settings'. Ensure that the following are selected:
- Update when opened
- Scheduled sync
- Update schedule (is set to the frequency you set earlier)
- Temperature scale is set to your preference (F/C)
- Sound effects (if you want them - I hate them)
- My current location (if you want your location to be refreshed when you unlock the phone - uses a little bit of data but very little - it also takes a few moments to update after you unlock)
Do you need to have auto sync enabled as I don't like this on (due to battery usage etc)

When autosync is completely disabled, how should weather sync automatically and get data to show in widget
LG, Helmut
Because I want weather to update but not the other 20 apps lol, I presumed that because I still had it ticked it would

So activate autosync and deactivate other apps.
deactivate autosync will sync nothing
