Did you try the update yourself? I tried the official update, but it fails because it checks if you have the official recovery image. I have EOS CWM recovery, so it fails.
I thought about editing this script, but am not sure if all works..

You also tried to extract only the file.img and flash in fastboot?

have you try my file ?
official update can be done only in stok xoom. if you have some mod (CWM ... ) it fail. (there is a lot of tread on this)

I know the official will not work because of the check on the recovery version installed.
I'm not going to try it just like that, did you use your own script? Did it work or not?

Hmmm.... dont know what you read but i do exactly the same with another File !
But its also flashable !

flashed your zip on UK mz601 using twrp recovery with no problems. Many thanks

Worked for me using EOS (CWM based) Recovery 6 (Touch) running Codename Android 3.1.1.

C'mon... You're not downgrade, there would be no reason to increase just numbers from Motorola so don't worry about...I even had 05 and upgraded to 07... Still have to taste all of its better work Btw I lost my 3G Internet connection LOL that's not 07P issue... Still had this problem after flashing EOS Everest 104

Update did not work using Team EOS CWM R6 (not touch), got status error 6 and 7.
Upgraded Recovery CWM Rogue Touch Recovery v1.5.0 version and the update worked perfectly.

[Q] Need Help Im stuck my Ascend P6 fail after try install TWRP

Hi everybody,
I was trying to install a version of Android 4.4 in my new Ascend P6 but all that I tried to do fail, now I try to install TWRP following this post:

when I tried to INTALL TWRP JELLYBEAN RECOVERY it show the next message:
FAILEDremote partition 'recovery' not support flash)
Ohhh a problem but I made a mistake because I tried all the options and when try the option
INSTALL OMNI KITKAT BOOT.IMG it leave and install sucesfull and my phone don't start only show the first screen and reboot again and again I tried to enter to recovery mode and it leave me but when I tried to install OMNI Rom through this part the phone show this message:
error invalid ota package missing scatter
I don't know what to do please help me I'm worry because now the battery is out and when I tried to charge it, it only reboot and reboot again and again and now don't leave me enter to recovery mode.

you might find a solution here. What I would first try is to go into Fastboot mode. Then I would flash the stock recovery ( Jelly Bean[4.2] or Kit Kat[4.4] ). Afterwards i would download the firmware you want, put the update.app in your dload folder on your sdcard and flash it over stock recovery.
So 1. step:
Entering Fastboot mode with the help of the buttons on your phone
Press and hold VOL - and POWER button and your phone will enter fastboot mode

What is stock recovery IMG ?
Depending on what firmware you want to install, Jelly Bean or KitKat, you have to install the correct stock recovery.

Hi, also make sure your bootloader is unlocked you could also use that tool to do it, but rather look near the top of that linked post and download his newer software

[Help] Downgrade from Omni ROM doesn't work

Hey,
I used the TWRP + Omni ROM. I tryed to downgrage but i cant.
Always when i will flash a stock rom he says: Huawei SD card update fail..........
I tryed to flash the stock rom and the recovery but nothing help.
Can anybody help me?

I have a problem with upgrades. I bought my P6 a month ago and recently decided to upgrade it to a newer version of android.
A few days ago i rooted it and deleted some unneeded google apps plus the original calculator which appearantly is the main problem here - system upgrade has an error because of the missing calculator and doesn't complete the upgrade.
I am new to the samrtphone world and would appreciate any help very much.

Hey,
you can try to install the calculator app again. I uploaded it for you
Simply put the calculator.apk on your internal storage -> system -> app
This can maybe help you
If not I would do this (if you want to upgrade to a newer firmware) :
[This would be the whole process if you have problem upgrading]

[Q] Canvas 4 stuck at micromax boot logo

Guys i was flashing ported cyanogenmod in my canvas 4 shared by one of the members in this forum,but mistakenly i didn't look at bugs.It had lot of bugs so i decided to flash another rom but after flashing it is stuck into micromax logo, any help?

GO to recovery mode !
select wipe data factory reset
then go to mounts and storage and select format system
then select
wipe dalvik cache in advanced
and install new ROM via install via sd card
and reboot

actually my phone is not going itno recovery mode,i tried a lot to press volume down+power button

in that case !

and download the stock rom from the link above i gave earlier

it booted into recovery mode by pressing both volume up and down+power button,then i flashed the rom but its still stuck into micromax logo
