You can. All you need to do is exclude baseband

You should have gotten the update notice for the update already, have you msnually checked for the update? If it says there isn't one then you can dosnload the tft file and flash it with flashtools

However, you won't get the prompt for the update if you rooted and removed bloatware. Use the FTF file with Flashtools as DroidJunkie suggested.
Do I use the x10 verizon or do play has it's own flash tools

When I reflash stock 2.3.3 via Flashmode and Flashtool, I get stuck in a bootloop. I'm using DooMKerneL V2 test 2 and the correct WiFi modules. The CDMA variant of course.
I'm going to try again, but I doubt it will work. Fix permissions first.
Any ideas?

Hi everyone,
I am new to flashing and rooting. I have rooted my Xperia S using bin4ry method (locked bootloader). I found CWM for locked bootloaders which use a .bat file to flash CWM.
I always get a bootloop by using that CWM. I got bootloop once, then I restored using flashtool. I gave a second try and I got bootloop again!!!! I got extremely annoyed. I was trying to install a flashable zip mod of Xperia T small apps.
I have wiped dalvik cache before every time I flashed. No luck.
Can anybody help me out?
Maybe the mod isn't for your system Version?

I don't know. CWM for locked bootloader hasn't been updated for a good time.

How do other people with locked bootloader use CWM?

Don't worry, framework-res was the problem, not cwm.

I think, not sure, that it used to at Xperia X10 and Arc times. With S and beyond, I've been told it don't cause any problems anymore...

My Xperia ZQ (C6503) was working until today, when I lost my baseband. I already tried flashing 4.2 and 4.3 stock, wiping data, restoring TA backup but nothing helped. Can someone help me please?

Did you try flashing it with flashtool, or just a zipped rom from recovery?
Try to find the FTF for your phone / carrier and flash it using flashtool.
