Anyone know of a way to move apps to sd on this device? I tried looking on my laptop and can't find the folder where the apps are located on the tablet.

Did you try any apps2sd apps on playstore?

Not possible with stock roms, may be we get this option in kitkat update

Not possible
@abart83 is right this is currently not possible on stock rom. The feature doesn't exist as
It does on other devices stock. Your only option for now is to root then partition your
SD-Card then use Link2sd to link the app to sd.

Hey guys. I have stock 4.0.4 with cwm recovery. I am going to flash AOKP and wanted to know if I can flash some of my downloaded apps like Swype and tapatalk beta 5. Instead of finding the links again and reinstalling.
If anyone knows if this is possible or knows another way of doing this, that would be great. Again I'm stock, no root so no titanium backup.
Just cwm.
I did research and couldn't find anything.

I do have a rooted stock ROM with root access so I do know I have to root to get ROM. my rooted ROM has no apps just use it for testing roms.
Cheers

Just move the downloaded .apks to your computer. Flash your rom. Move them back and install using a file manager.

so you do have root, just use titianium backup its the easiest way.
Yes, I agree, TiBackup is the way to go. Buy pro to get hands-free backing up and restoring! (well worth the money)
Your apps will reinstall automatically. But titanium is the way to go.
I have root on one rom with the other apps but no root with all apps. Can't put titanium bu on un rooted rom. I don't want to root both the roms either.

is there a way to change where apps are installed?
instead of being installed in internal memory it will be installed on sdcard
i read on other forums that APPS2SD does not work for our s3
Try this method. It may be a solution to your request.

Will loading a custom rom automatically allow app2sd to work. I have not noticed it listed as a feature in the description of any roms. Is there a way to get it working with stock room and being rooted? I have seen a script that swaps the internal storage for Sd but I am not sure I want to go that route.

I have a 32GB microSD installed in my phone and I'd install apps (such as games that need to download many gigabytes of data) on it instead in the "little" internal memory. I tried memory swap mod that swaps the internal with external memory but I have some issues...
Directory bind works very well on 4.1.2 but if your on a 4.2 rom you'll have to use folder mount. Both just move the data to your memory card rather than the app

You could use gl to sd root from Google play
