not by sony but theirs "stock based" roms that follow the sony code in 2.3.7
right now im trying to make my own ftf
success! i made a modified ftf to install the Stock R800i OS on my R800x phone and everything is ok!

hmm interesting, but something is different i just did flash stock and flashed a 2.3.7 rom but all other stock and my little error occurs, i flash back to 2.3.4 and everything works. i think those 2.3.7 mods have some kind of heavy framework modifications. well anyway im happy on Stock R800i 2.3.4 because verizon version of 2.3.4 is so broken
i dont know what i did but my long term error is now fixed!! im overjoyed! im back on lupus gb v12 with nxt 2 rom and my camera works! i think flashing one of those fota and baseband fixed my phone!

Well I ask this because 2.3.4 is unrootable unless you flash a pre-rooted kernel so if your BL is unlocked then flash a pre-rooted kernel and install CWM recovery then install your prefered ICS ROM or I would suggest JB then flash their kernel and you should be good

I dont understand why u say "i'm using STOCK ICS"... what is STOCK ICS? Since Xperia Play never had an OFFICIAL STOCK ICS.
Anyway if u are having problem, probably u have Markphyton rom.
Advice: if u want a perfect ICS rom stable with 100% touchpad, use CM9.1
This is simple, just flash This 2.3.4 enhanced version, turn on USB debugging mode, then use SuperOneClick or flashtool to root it.

This will not help with your headphone jack issue, you will have to buy this adaptor: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-EC250-Headphones-Adaptor-1249-0456/dp/B009HW15UG/
Hi,
I m new to the forums.
I have a sony xperia s with a locked bootloader but has been rooted.
i have cwm installed on it and currently have XZXperiance_2 installed.
I would like to go back to the offical ICS 4.0.4 Rom.
The phone says it is still logged as 4.0.4 but with different system on it.
I would like to go back to the origional system because of the official JB Update in the next few weeks.
If some could help me step by step it would be much help =]
I have set it back to factory settings but doesnt go back to the origional system i dont think i backed up the old system =[
Any help would be much appriciatted,
Many Thanks
Dan
Use flashtool from development part of Xperia s forum.
Download it, instal drivers, download ICS 4.0.4 generic world and flash it via flashtool.

So guys, i have tested a few JB and ICS ROMs already, and all of them has touchpads inverted on .79 firmware, but on .62 they work...
Any solution???

the problem on .62 is that my signal is always down, and my batery drains fast...
Hmm, have you tried any other firmwares?
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
yes, but other firmwares dosen't have vendor partition....
I don't know about inverted touchpad problem, but you can try ICS firmware for Neo L (4.1.B.0.631)
http://d-h.st/46e
I am using it, it have unlocked vendor partitition and i never had any problem with touchpads in any rom and kernel. Plus you'll have latest baseband.

But you can flash roms on it and have working touchpads?

I flashed that firmware somewhere in may. Since today and many many many ics, gb or jb roms tested, i never had any problems with touchpads. Actually, it can even boot normally, but since it's for Neo L, it's kernel don't have touchpad support.
Neo L and xPlay have same hardware (minus touchpads). Sony released it as "new phone", and all they do was putted ICS beta for xPlay (i even go that far to unpack all jar files in /framework folder, and all classes.dex files are same in this firmware as in ICS beta for xPlay)
Sorry for offtopic, i'm just saying it's safe to flash that firmware. I can only guess that it will give you normal touchpad controls, unlocked vendor partition and good battery life, as you asked...
Thanks for your answer, I flashed the firmware but unfortunately my
Touchpads are still inverted ... Do you know what are the files responsable for the touchpads??
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
Framework.jar as file and kernel itself is generaly for touchpads...
