1- am nw using beanstalk rom 4.4255 .. befor unlocking bootloader i did a backup with cwm .. if i flash the stock rom but with unlcoked bootloader .. can i restore the backup or the backup is for locked bootloader only ?!!
2- i i did a backup with TWRP Recovery .. can i restore it by CWM or not ??
3- if i flashed stock rom .. and deodex it .. so can i flash this kernel ?? or it's for odexed rom only ??
thanks .. and sry for bad english
if you backed up your TA partition then you can restore that to relock after you flash a stock kernel,
if you backup using cwm or twrp with a unlocked bootloader it can brick your device if you restore (no idea why) it also does the same with other LBL restoring to a device with LBL
you can restore a twrp backup in CWM but some modifacations needs to be made to the files, so in short not realy unless you know what your doing
deodexing literly means the removal of odex files in your system (odex files ~ pre-compiled parts of an app)
by deodexing your making the app run from the source
(also when you open an app it compiles)

and about restore twrp backup with cwm .. we can say that i can't restore cuz i don't know what do to
about deodex .. i know the meaning of deodex .. but i heard that we can't use the stock kernel to a stock deodexed rom ?!!
anyway thanks man for answer ^_^ ( Thanks Pressed )
that doesnt seem right
deodex does not have anything to do with kernels
you can restore a lbl backup to a ubl device
ive done before, i bricked when i restored lbl to lbl and ubl to lbl
make sense? if not ask!!

ok thank for all your help guys
i still trying how make it work. i will share if i found the problem
CyanogenMod ROMs are in ext4 filesystem.
Stock ROMs are in rfs filesystem.
When you install CyanogenMod, your phone's internal partitions get formatted to ext4.
Problem is that CWM can format internal partitions to ext4 but not to rfs, so you cant boot your restored backup because of stock kernel failing to mount ext4 filesystem.
You can try custom kernels that are designed for stock and run in ext4 like Phiexz's kernel.
hmm, ic so other word i cannot restoring my stock rom right, because cwm not design to backup stock rom.
so this function backup and restore just for custom rom or stock rom that design for ext4.
hmm....
thank you for your information it very useful for me

DXKK4 Stock ROM
I have a Nandroid backup of DXKK4 Stock ROM (Asia) , Don't worry you will not encounter SD Card issues with this one . This one acts just like DXKL2 but this is a earlier firmware. Want my DXKK4 Nandroid backup ? just PM me if you want so i can provide it to you . Plus this Stock ROM supports firmware upgrading , Since i used this for upgrading to DXLA1 Stock ROM but since DXLA1 Stock ROM surprised me with SD Card issues after 2-3 days so last April i finally gave up this ROM because of SD Card issues and downgraded to DKKK4 Factory firmware of my phone when bought.
Right now I am on CM11..but i want revert to my stock ROM c1904.
i've already made backup on my stock rom..so please tell me step by step how to restore stock rom.
You have the c backup of your stock rom?

If you just want factory state and you have a backup of the TA partition, restore TA and use PC Companion or SUS.
If you don't, you can use flashtool to flash an ftf of the stock ROM.

To make the backup work, Follow these steps:
1)Open your backup folder.
2)Go to the nandroid.md5 and open it using any text editor on your phone.
3)Delete all the lines from starting to the end.
4)Now save and close the file.
5)Now try restoring your backup using CWM!
Voila, now your backup will work.It worked for me.
This happened to me a few months ago and I followed someone's guide and my backup worked!!!
Tell me if there is any problem.

Did you change the name of the folder after taking the backup???

To make that backup work do not to add spaces and/or special characters. If you have added spaces and/or any special characters, the backup will not work thereafter,no matter how much you try to fix it.
It is not necessary to flash old CWM to restore the backup of 4.2.2.
If you hav not changed the folder name of the backup and still get the md5 error, then you should follow the editing and deleting steps.
