how to flash 4.4.2 kdz file to e988???? plz help

you can flash f240KDZ to e988

if you did that would there be any issues with hardware and stuff because i have a e988 and really want kitkat but i will only want to use it if its fully functional, so has anyone tried it?

Backup your rom and flash the SpheniX 4.4.2 V1.0 (Posted in the development section) followed by flashing your baseband. if something goes wrong you can always come back to your previous rom via recovery img.

ok thanks bro!

Root is necessary?

Sorry to ask ... the phone has to be rooted to flash the kdz file? I'm asking because I did DL THE 1.6GB FILE for my F240S. I know, 4.4.2 is available via OTA, but that doesn't work on mine. It just crashes after downloading a few MB's of the 727mb file.. Nope. It's not rooted. Stock ROM 4.1.2.
Thank you

Right HERE :good:
I was looking at that. Isnt that just the Korean version? I was kinda hoping to find the actual Canadian variant in zip form....I tried some of these roms and I feel weird saying this but the stock rom is pretty good!

It's for the Canadian version E973...the file is about 666mb big.
But it has an issue, the wifi password always disappear once you reboot your device. Maybe something missing in the ''build.prop''.
If you can live with that...
I just prefer to install Stock firmware with official KDZ. But it's up-to-you
Maybe Ill just kdz the thing.....didnt want to have to reroot.

Then if you kdz, make sure you have a backup of your data, apps, etc you want to keep...kdz will wipe all of that. You've been warn!!
Noted, thanks again!

[Q] NEED SUPPORT on Bootloop Problem after Flashing Custom Rom

Hi, I made a mistake flashing gomdolight wave on my lg g pro f240k stock rom. I was on Kitkat stock rom and flashed gomdolight which i believe is intended for JB only. After flashing, my phone got stuck on bootloop. I tried to download and flash another version of gomdolight which is intended for Kitkat but still, bootlooped again. What should I do? Can I flash other custom roms instead? Thanks in advance for those who would help.

First go in your recovery (if you did not install one download and install)
wipe / data
wipe / cache
wipe / davilk
wipe / system
ok, download a custom stock rom and place on your SD, this can be here
(make sure it's rom works on your device, it is 32gb or 16gb, if not this rom, look for one that is installed by the recovery)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419802
put it in the right place (follow the tutorial that is in the link)
Note: you will not install it by zip, will make a recovery.
Now that you have solved the problem of bootloop ..
You must return your original rom, for that you'll have to use the FashTools
Here in this link has step by step.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Follow the tutorial about it that you'll be fine
If I helped you click Thanks = D

Sorry, TOT is for E980, you need to use KDZ for your model. Tehre is a thread in the forum with all the kdz and tot files for the g pro.

to flash a kdz with lg flash tool you dont need stock recovery... after flashing stock rom the stock recovery is back.
but why you want to leave twrp due to the fact that there are now aosp roms available? and if you want the lollipop on your g3 think about it because you will lose root and twrp for the next time...

Following this guide will get you a secure boot error when attempting to boot into recovery. Even so following this guide is impossible because root is required and OP has no root on his kdz flashed MM.
My recommended solution would be reverting back to kitkat via kdz. If unfamiliar with the method follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
After reverting use the guide from post above: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
to flash TWRP.
Then fell free to flash whatever you want in TWRP. If stock lollipop ROM is you what you desire, download zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
if stock MM is what you wish for download zips from here:

Yeah
Even so if his MM would somehow be rooted it was still kdz flashed so it contains
MM bootloader. That equals BUMP not working.
Hope you had fun.
