CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
Make sure you have the LATEST version of ClockworkMod recovery. Other recoveries may work but will not be supported by CyanogenMod
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates me more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread. "I'm having problems rooting/unlocking" is NOT relevant here.

Is there a new cwmr that doesn't have reboot issues on 9505g?
Not seeing the 4.4 GApps on Goo.im main page yet. Is there a recommended package to use until the "official" one is released?
Edit: Nevermind, http://invisiblek.org/gapps/ works.

Flashed and testing... will report back!
:good:
Edit:
So far everything works fine. Also restoring my apps with TB worked.
SuperSu does not work for me, but included Superuser works!
aye... is damn late... anyway... nice heads up
seems to be working flawlessly, but there is one thing i am concerned about:
the cyanogenmod does not retrieve the wifi list and doesn't download the apps that i have previously had, even the ones i had installed on the previous nightly. It is only so while on the cyanogenmod. If i flash a stock rom with odin, the whole backup retrieval will work no matter what
anyone experiencing such an issue ?

I couldn't find an official thread with the stock CM 11 for our Hercules, so I thought I start one. Let's get one thing straight I'm no developer I'm just passing on an official thread for CM 11. Here I will provide direct download links, change logs and anything else I can think of. So with that let's get started.
My hope of this tread is for an official thread about the CM 11 directly from CM site as well as for smarter people than I and other community members to ask question and get answers from fellow XDA fourm members. Also lets keep this thread clean so make sure you use the search button before you post. If a moderator doesn't like this tread just let me know and I'll delete it.

OmniROM Galaxy 551/Callisto port [OmniARMv6]
Current port status: beta - may not be suitable for daily use. For experienced users only.
Latest Google Apps package: not yet available
Pre-requisites:
ClockworkMod or TWRP recovery
Initial install:
Download the latest build that supports OTA updates from: http://dl.androidarmv6.org/callisto
Reboot to recovery, wipe data and install the update package normally.
How to perform OTA (over the air) update:
Go to Settings -> About phone -> System updates. The latest diff between your current ROM and the latest build will be downloaded, which will be used to create a new update zip in the /sdcard/OpenDelta folder.
If you are using OmniARMv6 TWRP recovery, it can flash the new update automatically [not yet tested].
If you are using CWM recovery, you can flash the patched package (/sdcard/OpenDelta/omni-*.zip) manually.

Thank for creating thread.
thanks
ROM is very smooth and fast. Works much faster than CM11.
Very thanks
@psyke83 omni rom will be used kernel 3.×.× as per source given above.
@psyke83 omni project has been abanded ? after bunch of ota failed ota disappeared from Jenkins. This rom is smooth and fast except few problems like camera, keyboard back light and lock screen resize.
Last builds (also for other devices) are dated June 15. And the last Android version was 4.4.3. Is it just a build process that got stuck, or is it more serious?
Links are down!
Hey man,
Thank you and others in armv6 team for their incredible work. You guys brought CM11 to a number of devices and that's a BIG DEAL.
Since our device is quite old now, I can see why the project died.
Now, the only thing we want is the links of the latest stable (RC) builds of the devices hosted somewhere. I can (at-least) host (CM11 and OMNI) stable builds of callisto in my GDrive.
Anyone knows what the license for ready-built ROMs is? That is, if the original source goes down, would anyone be allowed to upload a copy?
I'm not thinking about modified images yet - but it'd be easy to make people download something that isn't identical to the original thing, and the md5sum files have also gone - would archive.org be able to help? https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://download.androidarmv6.org/_builds/callisto/* seems to return something at least
Can Someone reupload this?

1. Prepare your build environment and get the CM11 sources. Read the official CM wiki if you don't know how.
2. Add our local manifest

Whats wrong whith this rom ?!
before i have installed this rom i dont have problems with "cm-11-20150205-UNOFFICIAL-mate7" but with this -11-20150410-UNOFFICIAL-mt7_l09 i have errors Status 7 and when i del "getprop" from update-script i have status 4 .......
Who can help me ?! I have a Huawei Ascend MAte 7 TL10
EDIT://
only what i have do is i update CWM to 6.0.5.1
Hello everybody
I cannot install this ROM.
In recovery I get error status 7 (kinda "this ROM is for MT7-09, your device is H60" i don't remember exactly...). I tried to flash the CMW recovery provided by Demazda in the thread [RECOVERY][CWM] ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.5.1 for Ascend Mate 7 (MT7-L09), but i get error message (target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes error: cannot load 'cwm_mate7_20150410.img': NO error).
The CMW recovery I'm running now is v.6.0.5.1: the one I flashed when I rooted and that I use for backups and to flash the ROM I'm using now MK44.4(CM11)(4.4.4).
Any suggestions?
Thanks...

Have you tried redownloading the CW image? Could be corrupt?
Thanks for getting this build going, Demazda. I was on the fence about flashing CM given the other CM build had Chinese bloatware in it, but now there's this clean version . I flashed it last night, and now there's no more lag when swapping apps or scrolling like stock has. It's almost like there's some decent NAND in there .
Why is the fingerprint scanner in the won't fix list? Is it because it's reliant on some proprietary blobs or ?
Also is there any reason I'm seeing a red outline around some apps that flashes for a quick second? I've noticed it a lot in Chrome, but it isn't just that. Just me?

Thanks for your suggestion. I already solved. I flashed the stock recovery and than I flashed the CMW recovery provided by Demazda. THan I flashed without any issue this ROM...
I like it very much but I prefer the MK44.4... I miss PIE controls and I do no like PIE available with gravityBox. Thanks to Demazda for his work, anyway.
so i got my mate7 on monday and thanks to this thread i unlocked/rooted it today (thanks Demazda!!!). it took me awhile but i finally got CM11 installed and WOW!! i erased/reset my nexus 5 and gave it to my dad cause i now have the best phone ever! i hope to acquire some skills for android over the summer so that i could help out in developing for the mate7. hopefully PAC-ROM will be available some day. thanks for all the hard work to all that contribute to this great cause!
wifi....
Sometimes do not Wi-Fi....
0 WiFi issues here. Could you elaborate?
Really thanks demazda.
I install it yesterday and everything is working good (right now).
I just revert back the DPI to 480 because it's to small for my opinion and some app (launcher and others) don't display good with 320DPI.
Just a question, with this ROM as a base can we expect some port of other KK rom ? did you plan to update it ?
Really want to use this, since i love the material look you can give to it.
Unfortunately, i won't try to use this, since i really need the fingerprint scanner on the device.
Isn't there any way to fix it?

Don't Expect any fingerprint for custom ROM, the sourcecode isn't available and huawei don't release any code (as i know) for that. only the kernel is available and i don't think the code for this is inside kernel.
After 2 days of use it's working good, BT audio don't work at all like demazda say in OP and i really need it so i cannot use as daily rom until someone fix it.
Wait for the futur

Sorry, but anyway to fix USSD-Code execution? if not, is there any replacement?
Just wanted to pop in and say thanks Demazda, for this good clean CM11 for my device.
While I really like the look of the stock ROM and all it's extra benefits. Cyan/AOSP is just so reliable and I never used my fingerprint scanner anyway. Looking forward to see how battery life compares, anyone have any thoughts on how big of a difference it is to the stock ROM battery life?
I've been using MK44.4 and decided to try this. When I try to flash, the installation is aborted and it's telling me that my phone is something other than it actually is and refuses to install. WTF?

Bug reports belong on JIRA. See our wiki for more information on using JIRA.
I do not check this thread regularly for bug reports. Using JIRA makes tracking down & debugging bugs a lot easier. Feel free to use this thread to discuss bugs, though
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel
DO NOT report bugs if you've modifies system files
DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
See how to submit a bug report for the appropriate place to report your bug (NOTE: the majority of bugs need to go in the BUGBASH tracker, which is only open on weekends).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs already reported on JIRA. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

P.S. There is an EXPERIMENTAL build for jfltexx? I think it is necessary in order to upgrade from CyanogenMod. Just asking

Man, u are god, big thanks to u
Why is that not included
You must separately install a root package with default lineage now, it is not included.
Default line is here: https://download.lineageos.org/extras
addonsu-arm-signed.zip

No way....!!!
'' [OFFICIAL][WEEKLY][7.1.1] LineageOS 14.1 for i9505'' <---this is one is pure LineageOS ROM ,with no custom tweaks,no custom kernel no nothing.its like the Official CM13.0.it has got all features that LineageOS support
"[JDCTeam][7.1.1][12 March]Optimized LineageOS 14.1-Stable1[Dev by Poll]" <---this is MY rom...my custom rom...my edits...my tweaks...the base of that rom is the official lineageOS.i added some stuff etc
@dj3d I think the developers decided it that way to make a nice "stock" lineage os without "all singing all dancing" stuff. Just to keep it clean and pure.
Thanks a lot !
Works great

Next question would be ... when do we have a EXPERIMENTAL build?
EXPERIMENTAL build use to come before the first official

there will be NO experimental...
builds will stay labeled as they are...
'experimental 'snapshot' etc was CM stuff
do NOT expect ANY change to this ROM's title
@side:
I think he means the EXPERIMENTAL Build for dirty installation from unofficial to official
meeeh...if u want to run official release u have to fully wipe...
NEXT builds will be able to be dirty installed over previous official release
