HI there
I was wondering if someone could guide me. It appears that my snotes are automatically synced to my gmail email account, but how do I find the snotes from a pc? Where are they located in the gmail? Any help is appreciated.

i'm trying to do the following but am having problems with my contacts :
1) exchange contacts & mail <> desire. this works fine using my exchange activesync account.
2) exchange pc contacts & calendar <> desire. this doesn't seem to be working.
i've made sure that i've installed the latest version of htc sync and i've selected both contacts and calendar to be synced but only the calendar appears to be working.
any suggestions ? i'd rather not sync everything with google as i'd like to keep my contacts and calendar entries private if at all possible.
thanks in advance ...
iam having the same problem with downloading contacts using sync. have you found the solution to this problem?
Hello,

Noone knows pls?
Hi,
firstly may I apologise if this has been covered, I did complete a search without
success.
I do not have Outlook on my pc,
is it possible to sync contacts with gmail without outlook, if not is there a relatively inexpensive method of purchasing Outlook ?
regards
Geoff
If you have a Gmail account and Android, you do not need Outlook at all.
Outlook can only sync with Gmail with Google Calendarsync AFAIK.
On your phone in Accounts and Synchronization, Add your gmail account and choose the items to sync.
- contacts
- gmail
- picasa
- calendar
What are you currently using on your pc as a contact manager application?
Backup your contacts to your SD card and then restore them but select your Gmail account to add them too. It will then sync the contacts to Gmail
Use MyPhoneExplorer which is free.
Thank you for the replies,
I do not have a contacts manager.
I have exported to SD card, deleted and copied back as google contacts,
it now appears to be a gmail upgrade problem as the phone error message
>Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly<
I'll just have to wait to see if it works.

Does anyone know how to sync the N7100 to Microsoft outlook for calendar, phone numbers, notes and e-mail addresses? Does Samsung have a desktop program that does all of this? Please help. I tried doing a search but can't find the right answer.
Thanks,
John

Just use the standard e-mail client that is standard on the phone. You can link to Exchange or POP mail accounts, and the Calendar info contact etc wiull all be pulled to your Calendar, and contacts applications.

Yes, you need to download Samusng Kies, you can do backups and restores to your phone, also you can sync Outlook to your phone (contacts, notes, calendar, ect)
The calendar app does not sync calendar entries to google servers.
But surprisingly when I delete an entry which I added via PC before then it vanishes even in the calendar app when syncing. Anybody who has the same problem? Any workaround?
Thank's for your help guys!
Edit: The matter has resolved itself. There's an extra tab when adding an entry to the calendar (internal, google, ms exchange) ...
