Can you use the at&t roms, will my o2/giffgaff still work
What is the proper porting?

Most at&t roms work on the n7105. Both dn3 and sky note work perfectly. Jedi in the tmobile thread also works. Any n7100 rom will result in the loss of baseband. Your phone will work but you will be left with essentially a 5 inch wifi tablet

proper porting... means you have to recode the ROM, and put back your LTE device baseband, modem+csc, partition.
sawdoctor is correct, you will just have a wifi phablet if you force to flash N7100 over to LTE devices.
cheers.

Yes you can. I bought my T889 when I was in New York and now I'm in Bangladesh. Just use the Jedi-X roms and choose N7105 when u install, or u can also flash international roms for T889 posted by TeshX (the developer with Jerry in his DP)
*there's a thanks button if I helped you*

Ok, thanks but that means I can't take any International Rom for Note 2, I have to stay with rom specially adapted for T889.
Any reason for that or it's just a different modem?

There are international ROM for T889 models. I'm not sure about 4.3 but I've used some 4.1 and 4.1.2........ Do you want me to give you the links? but I suggest you to go for Jedi-X series. It's the best ROM series I've ever experienced.
use jedi master v2 its the best. :fingers-crossed:

SM-N9005 ROM on SM-N900T

I have a Tmobile Note 3 SM-N900T and I would like to know if I can flash note 3 international SM-N9005 Stock rom on my device.
Will this brick my device?
I believe it depends on the rom. Some devs list the models it can work with. Also only the devil of rom knows what tinkering they have done. You will loose Wi-Fi calling
TWEAKED 1.0 NOTE 3
Thanks for the reply! I am aware that both phones have the same hardware. So can I just flash the LTE international note 3 stock rom firmware on to my tmobile version? I don't want custom roms, so I was wondering if flashing stock rom would work.

Thought so, hey man since you flashed almost all international roms the ones that don't have aroma or manually install the international kernel, my question is even tho it flashes an international kernel while the rom installs it won't brick my note unless I boot up? After flashing rom right away uncheck reboot at the end of aroma(if any) then flash kernel/wifi>gps>bluetooth fix? All should be gravy?

Are you already install N9005 to N900t. Is that work
Does knox gets tripped by flashing a N9005 rom on the N900T? Or the N900T modem/kernel afterwards?
Thanks

You could face a lot of issues no network, wifi or baseband at all. Kernel needs to be changed as well as modem, bin files, etc files and lib files to get the rom to work right.

I was helping somebody else, and he said his phone doesn't have LTE. I don't have T889 personally. So I was confused whether it has LTE or not. I also live in country that only has N7100 for sell.
