There's a couple on eBay but they're used and I don't trust the pictures, plus I'm in Australia, parts are in the US. It has minor scratches from when I accidentally slept on it with my headphones unplugged and the jack scratched it.:silly: It'd be nice if I can get a brand new one, wonder why there's non floating around.
I've been recently looking for the same thing.
Don't know if you found I've by now (because your post was from almost a year ago), but I just found the following parts site in my searches on XDA: http://goo.gl/GDL5hT
I'm in Canada, so I'm still trying to see if I can find a parts site / distributor located in North America. But if you've found something that worked for you, please share it.
Thanks!

Don't know of any stores in SA as I am in Australia, but if you vote on the link specified in this thread;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1051130
then Casemate may decide to make the case and you could then order it online
I had a xoom and sold it for the tab, The tab fits in xoom case i have, the camera cutouts on the back are wrong but at least its protected.
This is the case i have.

I have the same issue. Samsung South Africa dont even have the device yet. They are expecting it this month.
In terms of accessories, i have also looked around like a nutter, and i cant find anything.
An Incredible corruptions store in Eastgate said they should be getting this week. I will be checking tomorrow as its Friday.
Thanks, still no luck. Phoned Vodashop vodaworld again today, still nothing. Let me know about eastgate.

mine came with a case and it's pretty awesome, better than any aftermarket case that i've seen
Any of you guys from SA find a case???
I've had my tab for 3 weeks now and I still can't find anything. Got some family in the UK - seriously thinking about getting a few from ebay.co.uk and getting them shipped here.
Hi guys,
It fits in an Ipad 1 case. Needs cutouts for power and camera though.

Still no luck for me, Vodaphone shop said they would contact me when they do arrive. Very frustrating, they never seem to get it right in SA.
Saw a tweet from Samsungmobilesa that vodashop's should have accesories available mid June.

Did a few stops today while I was out; IC Eastgate say they will get stock next week, IC Greenstone say they have no clue when stock is arriving. So I popped in at Vodaworld; The Vodashop recons 4 - 6 weeks until they expect stock and the Samsung Mobile guys say that they have yet to get their hands on the device never mind the accessories....
have2have has got a cover listed for around R320. Only thing is that there is 7 - 14 days for delivery... placed the order and now I wait

Cant post a link... something about I haven't done enough posts ... go to have2have.co.za and do a product search for "P7100"
So far the service has been awesome. They email you every step of the order; I know that the package is now waiting to go to Washington Dulles Airport as soon as they finish the customs paperwork...
I had just made an order on ebay for a case....
Will update when it reaches...
Some cool cases that I come across too in China, but no idea on quality.
At least it is made specifically for the 10.1v!

My case had arrived at ORT. Waiting for customs to clear the package. Maybe get it this week!

Let us know how it is please
Yes please do let us know!
Also in SA, and have been searching for a case since I got the tab 10.1v.
But now since Vodafone has dropped/discontinued the V version, i'm a sad panda because it means that 10.1V accessories (or at least a case) will be VERY rare...
so if we can get at least 1 good case somewhere it will help us early adopters a lot
looking forward to your feedback (and thanks all for the links so far!)
ok, seeing as no one has either received their imported cases yet, or no one actually cares to reply... heres an update after we did some research the last couple of days.
(also posted on AndroidZA)
decided to import a case, seeing that it is pretty much the only option...
Apart from the importing fact, we also have just about 2 options of cases
I settled on this one from amazon uk : goo.gl/mbHcJ
They estimate about 3 weeks for delivery so we'll see... at least its quite cheap (though shipping isnt...)
Saw that Have2Have advertises a similar case (goo.gl/3bboh), but called them and their US supplier doesnt have stock, so thats a fail.
But here is another viable option, though it is VERY expensive, but looks gooood...
goo.gl/TjDtg
hope it helps someone. i'll update once i get that case.
[edit: sorry about the links, cannot post links yet apparently - so just copy & paste the goo.gl links into the browser]
case from ebay...
hey people,
the case i had ordered from ebay arrived and here are pictures of it.
fits the ports really well, meaning that i can use all my ports.
microfiber material but feels not as nice as the apple one.
am quite happy even though it is a little loose (due to the material being slightly stretchable). can stand too!
pictures!

Thanks, how much did it cost, and when did you you order it? It looks decent enough and we cant really afford to complain, except for the fact that I really would like a screenguard for the tablet as well.
Hey guys, wondering if you guys could find a Galaxy W top cover set in black as my top part has dented. This is NOT a housing, it's more of a replacement part. I've found one here:http://www.mytrendyphone.co.uk/shop/samsung-galaxy-w-62785p.html but they do not ship to my country(Malaysia). Any1 met across this spare replacement part? I really appreciate your help if you've stumbled across a website that sells this and ships internationally.
Malaysia is on the list on their .com site.
http://www.mytrendyphone.com/shop/external/pages/en/Shipment_and_delivery.html#4
But I can't register myself in as I can't select Malaysia as my country

May I suggest getting a dummy galaxy w
In the old days, the dummy phones (the ones they use in phone shops) had the exact casing used in real phones. Maybe you can buy one of those galaxy w dummies, and extract whatever you need from it. And they are cheap to get.
In the past, I did replace the whole housing from a dummy phone for my treo 680.

dummy phones now arent made of real phone parts(that's why they're called dummies=non working objects). that's why its now on the cheap. i've seen one of the galaxy w ones before. all buttons do not work and the back couldnt even be taken off(the location of the spare part i am needing) so get your facts right and don't simply take a chance to answer questions with hideous answers.
Was just wondering if anybody has a couple of hinge springs to get rid of? Will pay for them and shipping..... Thanks....
Try phone repair sites? Just did a quick search on eBay doesn't seem to be anything available like that.
I think he is referring to the hinge springs that was recommended by a guide a while back to fix the weak hinge in all g2s. Sorry mate I wished I had some left

Does anyone have a spring left
Hello,
I was in touch with McMaster-Carr yesterday and they're still not shipping outside of the US. Has anyone got a spring they're willing to sell, please PM me. Thank you in advance.
Just use the dimensions of the spring and search locally, they can be found at hardware and hobby stores all over every country, well most I'm sure. I have a few but I think it would cost you less just due to shipping to do a quick local search

Thank you for a very fast reply. I'll check around here if not I'll be in touch. Usually shipping from the US to Belgium is quite affordable and I've never had problems with customs either. Have a nice weekend.
spent disposable lighters
I used the spring of a spent disposable lighter. meshed 2 pieces springs together and replace my old spring hinge. works for me.

I like the creativity of that idea But this afternoon I talked to a friend who owns a crafts store over here in Bruges, Belgium and she told me that I'd be hard pressed getting the springs ordered via hobby stores. So I went ahead and ordered some in the UK at [a href=http://www.leespring.com/uk_product_spec.asp?partnum=LC022A05M++++++&springType=C&subType=]lLeesprings.co.uk[/a]. Specifications match, only downside is that I had to order 5 at the same time.
I'll let you guys know if this type works or not.
So a friend of mine wanted to open up his phone.
And internally he massed something up, and now his NFC Doesn't work anymore.
I suspect it's the antenna sticker.
Does anyone know where to get a new one?
Ofcourse I googled, and tried Ebay, but i can;t seem to find any!
Thanks in advance
I'd say he needs to get a new case
Never saw a sticker alone on sale

That's awful, really. However, I know that some guys are just selling NFC antenna for different mobiles online in recent days. So maybe this time you can google "NFC antenna" and find them. Of course, most of the manufacturers like Sunshine Good Electronics only deal with wholesale business. Therefore, you need to be patient. I really that the result that I am seeking for is on the second page last time.
ej i tink hes right you need a new back housing, i got one from ebay a little while ago, it was like €22 or something like that.
So my Robin finally came from Amazon yesterday. After hours of waiting and finding out it was at someone else's apartment (long story short). Anyways after I unboxed the phone and the top of the device was bent backwards, which I didn't really have a problem with because I didn't want to ship it back and wait for a new one. After taking hours to charge up and install every update, I found out that the front camera didn't even work, nothing but static like an old school TV. Sent it back and currently waiting on a new one. Did anyone else have these issues when they first got theirs? I understand and know that it's an old device but I can't resist the look of it lol.
Well are you certain you bought a new device and not a used one? Nextbit(now acquired by Razer) stopped selling this device 6-8months back. They pulled out all from all the official channels so the only ones you can buy are from stock saved by retailers or third party sellers.
This surely is a case of old stock stashed somewhere which probably got damaged in storage or handling.

Some resellers bought up remaining stock from retailers in bulk to flip for a profit. Often these transactions are "all sales final" because the retailers take a loss and just want the product gone. Maybe some resellers got stuck with a few broken units and are shadily trying to sell as new rather than "broken for parts only." I'd hope not, but it's possible.
