First question

how to install temple run 2 on LG LU-6200?
it says incompatible update when i download it from play store :crying:
i'm using miui-3.1.11

im on gb 2.3.5.. i tried everything but cant get root to work
can anybody help please?

Is there any way to remove the ICS engineering thingy now on every boot after that ROM, I have root cwm and cm10, so I get where I want to be now if only I can remove that.
Also anyway to get edge speed? I only get G. Must be some hidden menu item..?

Anywho I just saw a CM10 rom/mod/mod-rom for Optimus LTE and I dont have a clue if it works on LU6200 or I just assume that LU6200 is left out in the rain and I gotta move on with just P930mod for my LU6200?
If I can install / modify some of the files of the rom to suit my LU6200 please tell me that so as well. Seemingly I see no answers are replied in this thread making me kinda hopeless for an answer.

cm10 is working on our lu6200, even cm10.1. you can look for more rom from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051590 just use google translate.

does anyone have a clue how the su640 official 10.1 works? as i made it work on my lu6200 but it got some issues, display drivers i guess as page flipping and rotation is not smooth.
su640 cm10 works fine as the one in lu6200 thread gave me random reboots.
at the moment i tweaked jellybam to gsm only and stuff and its working great.

have you tried it, as iv tried the latest nightly and used the kernel from an existing rom and it was not smooth in sliding screens or sliding pictures and rotation.

Hi guys, I am having a problem with my lu6200. It sometimes randomly reboot. Not excessively but once or twice a day. This happened 1st time when I flashed and used LTE ICE Cream 4.0.4 v163.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1856223. I have flashed different roms including cm10 by wflsl and now cm10.1 try8 by tdmcode but its still the same. I haven't installed any new app and all the apps I am using are those which I used before the problem occurred.I have flashed ics engineer kdz again to make sure I have a clean os but my device rebooted again today by itself. What do you people suggest? Thanks for reply.
Update: I have removed the memory card last night and still no reboot. I am hoping its just a bad sdcard.
Update2: Yeah that was definitely a problem with the sdcard. I formated my sdcard from my pc using a card reader and re inserted in my device. No reboot after about 19 hrs of uptime.

I have just checked in that thread and links are working...I have only checked the link of kdz file. If you have any problem in downling the flasher and the guide, pm me your email.

Today I installed google play music and after some time the reboot again occurred. Now I am thinking its a proplem with play music???
Reflashing rom...
It again rebooted after a clean flash. I had to revert to stock rom v166 and no restarts yet after 2 days of use. I really wanted to test new roms but I am stuck.

Thank You I was able to root my device. Just wondering any suggestion what is the most stable rom for this device. I am currently using miui and this is pretty stable atm.

I am currently using tdmcode's AOKP and its pretty stable. Don't forget to use crossbreeder with this rom.

Please anybody tell me if there's any way to port stock ICS apps (Music player & Camera) to CM10.1 or any other Jelly bean ROM?

Yes. My M919V from Wind (using it on Virgin) got an update this morning. MDC to MDJ now. The firmwares posted on samfirmware are the newer ones that includes today's 18 Mb update.
I didn't notice any difference as of yet. The description only read "Stability Improvements".

Guys now that you have open this topic it will nice to have real guide for our version for Rooting andvalso listing whic recovery and Rom work on Videtron / wind version.
I am too scared to brick the phine so I need guide from people who already done it.

Is there any root for our version?

I had my S4 crash on me once so I'm assuming the update fixed that. I'm not sure what caused the crash but it reminded me of the crashes I'd get with AOSP roms on my S3 which shocked me. So far no crash though. TBF, I think that the roots for the TMO work for us as well, however I haven't tried yet either as I'm also waiting for confirmation hehe. :good:
BTW has anyone gotten the unlock for the M919's to work on M919V's? When I dial the code in, it doesnt want to accept it.

I suppose I'll get things rolling a little bit.
1) Root
The motochopper method works. Tested it myself. Even on the newest M919VVLUAMDJ.

Again tested by me, works flawlessly even after flashing stock rom again.

I can confirmed I followed yesterday the method posted in the main Galaxy S4 Genreal forum(not T-mobile one) by looking at your links it look like same steps, and my videotron is unlocked I tried Telus sim of a friend it is working http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2282683
For me the only important reason why I want to root and install a custom ROM is to have Pdroid as Apps now days ask for crazy permissions and I want to block that. Is there any Stock Base ROM that include Pdroid or OpenPdroid ? Because otherwise my phone is ultra fast and smooth no need of crazy flashing like I use to do before with my LG lol

Is there anyway to enable LTE on this model? My phone tends to jump to the Rogers partner network every now and then and the data is terribly slow on Rogers 3G compared to Videotrons 4G. Thanks.

Open the phone dialer and press *#2263#.
Then select LTE Band Preference & then LTE All. This will force your phone to only connect to LTE.
To revert back chose Automatic from the service mode.

No that is not necessary. The new firmware is still rootable with motochopper.

Ever since I installed the firmaware update 2 days ago my batter life has tanked. Anyone else having this problem? (noob warning) Is it possible to revert to the previous version (non-rooted device)?

Could you elaborate on how much the battery life has really tanked? Is it down to just a few hours? And how less is it compared to the previous times?
I ask only because even though I initially thought that my battery was draining much quickly on this new firmware, it isn't really so. I'm getting about the same battery life.
Also, at this moment there is no way to downgrade to the previous firmware. The reason being the only stock firmware available to be flashed is the latest one.

You are welcome and no, I did not install any ROMs or custom recoveries. I like the stock touchwiz roms and generally only root to get rid of bloatware & do some minor tweaks.
I assume that all custom roms for the t-mobile sgh-m919 should work on our sgh-m919v variants. But, I have no expertise in this area & if anybody knows more can correct me.

I've updated the main post with links people have posted on here just for good reference. I hope that's okay with the original posters.

Just to confirm that i just rooted my videotron S4 with the link in OP . No need to roll back firmware worked perfectly with latest . Dont forget to turn on unlocked screen as you will be asked to allow root on your phone.

So I dont think its the firmware. Forgive the noobiness. Here's what happened: for two weeks since I bought the phone I have been following the same usage pattern every weekday - full charge with phone off at night, turn on at 8am, an hour of radio streaming and some browsing, gmail syncing sms and sporadic short browsing, repeat hour of streaming/browsing on commute home, some browsing on wifi in the evening. I have all smart features disabled and only syncing my gmail and calendar all in the effort to conserve bbattery.NEway this process would take my battery to about 20% by 11pm. Then last week for 2 consecutive days my battery life plummeted during the day to the point where it was 100% drained by 6pm. I didnt consider whether I had done anything differently on those days but now I know. I tried to send pictures through gmail over the network. With each pic weighing I at approx 3mb gmail was working to send them for hours while draining my battery. It just so happened that this took plafe the day after I installed the upgrade. Lesson here for me is wait for wifi to email pics taken by the fantastic camera on this phone.e

My Samsung Galaxy Note II is having the gsm signal problem... i have rooted my phone and installed a new ROM but after i installed it signal gets lost and doesn't come back... i tried to find some help and i founded the Ariza Patch method but that didn't solved the problem... then i noticed that my phone's wifi was also not working so i installed the wifi patch for that i that WORKED !! and the wifi now is working but the mobile gsm signal is not working !! then i couldn't find any way to fix that so i installed the stock 4.1.2 Rom [ ORIGINAL ] and that also had the same problem but then again tried the Ariza Patch method and this time that worked !!
Now i want to know that when i install any custom rom that has the same gsm signal problem and i cant use any new rom because of that problem... Now i have to use its original ROM.
CAN ANY ONE HELP ME TO GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED ??? WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED ???

The network problem is of out of service thing and this is on every rom i tried to fix but no avail same problem is on my anothrr note 2 and it wont work please anny help !!

yes I performed a clean install but still i didn't work... every things work perfect when i flash a new ROM except for this network problem !!
I don't know that whats the problem... the sim is picked by the mobile but it shows out of service thing and emergency call only... !!

Let me tell u its one of a kind problem
I have tried everythingg on the same rom
Efs problem is nott there its not a hardware its some kind of software + modem problem stocl 4.1.2 modem works only ariza patch and if apllied on 4.3 modem the imei changes to null and etc stuff .. tried 3 diff roms
I guess professional devekopee support is required

APN are for data my friend the phone has no service
it says out of service and mobile network state is disabled
its like the phone is in airplane mode but the sim is inserted and piked up by the phone
when u call the same phone there is pulse but the phone doesnot show nor it does call on any number
it says sim not registered or something like this
the sim card works on everyother phone except the note 2 !!!

I am using galaxy s4 mini LTE ver. (GT-I9195l with cm11.
After upgrading a new version of cm11(snapshot m11), vibration is not working (haptick, phone call. SMS etc)
I already wiped my phone and reinstalled cm11 again but it didn't make any change.
Is there a solution of this problem?

Good luck!

It looks like hardware issue. Look at SIM Card slot pins if they curved or broken. SIM card and SD Card slots are one the same flex removable part so You can change it by yourself. If not I'm afraid Your motherboard is broken and without specialized measurements and diagnostic stuff I can't help You.

Maybe your efs folder get corrupted...can you use wifi? call *#06# and watch if you have an imei

Oh, I forgot it can be caused by this. Also check *#1234# if You have all 3 entries because Your modem can be corrupted.

Maybe your efs folder get corrupted...can you use wifi? call *#06# and watch if you have an imei

yes I have WIFI, can watch youtube jus fime, but what is the phone for if u cant call with it?

Hmm ! I noticed something strange . U are using WRONG rom . U use rom for Single sim LTE variant, and u have dual sim phone . U used my modem for dual-sim phones at least ...
try to flash dual-sim rom also http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...rom-cyanogenmod-12-0-s4-mini-duos-gt-t2950526

Ok so nothing worked and after 3.5 weeks of fighting, guys I am sorry, I give up! I took it to the server for a total reset...
Still THX a lot for trying to help
