I tried downgrading my stock i747m(fido) from 4.3 to 4.1.1 to unlock it but now i'm stuck at download mode
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.

solved the problem by reinstalling stock fido 4.3 rom with ODIN

FYI, you cannot downgrade your 4.3 KNOX bootloader to a 4.1.1 bootloader hence, the error.

I was on Phoenix Rom v15.7 and upgrading to Phoenix Rom 16, after flashing phoenix rom 16, my phone stuck in bootloop and cannot enter into recovery mod. So I decided to download stock 4.3 N7100XXUEML3_N7100OLBEML1_N7100XXUEMK1_HOME.tar from sammobile and flash it using odin. Even after that, my phone is still stuck on the second samsung logo. So I tried to flash pit file and the stock rom from before, still no result at all...
My download screen now shows:

Hello..
You can try flash philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar.md5 via odin pda and reboot..if still stuck at samsung logo boot into recovery and wipe data/factory reset and reboot..

I am sure you must have selected too many mods in Aroma while installing Phoenix and you must have flashed v16 without wiping. This is the reason behind your problem.
How to fix-
1.Flash philz touch 5.15.0
2.Select wipe(second option) from philz recovery and choose "Clean to flash a new rom"
3.Now flash any ROM of your choice and reboot (do not fix root when prompted)
I guarantee your phone will boot now. Now Cheers

If you'd follow the instructions correctly there's no reason you'll be stuck..i flashed 16.0 twice but everything was ok.follow the advices given to you and try again..:good:
P.S..can someone give me idea to install sony package in note 2 coz i didn't found on the Phoenix V16 aroma?i tried flashed the 4.3 sony package zip downloaded from codexc but encountered keypad stopped,media stopped & others..
issues with downgrading at&t galaxy s3 from 4.3 to 4.1.1
I flash these all the time, but I think this is the first time from 4.3, is this the issue?
I tried odin 1.85 and 3.04 3.09 with same error on odin screen of the phone, error is as follows:
( SW REV CHECK: FAIL FUSED 2 > BINARY 0 )
I can still boot up to 4.3 normally, just cant flash back
Any one know how to fix this?

Once you have the 4.3 bootloader on your phone, you cannot downgrade it. You can only downgrade the ROM, not the bootloader.
Hi Guys,
I have an unlock code from AT&T and I want to use it from the Stock ROM. I am currently running CM 11 nightlies.
I tried the standard method of using ODIN from PC to flash stock ROM. It doesnt seem to work. I am always stuck in ;NAND write Fail'.
Before installing CM a while ago I updated OTA to 4.3, and based on what I read everywhere this seems to have something to do with the issue.
Any help on how to proceed will be great.
I am using ODIN 3.07
Downloaded Stock ROM from sammobile.
This is what my download screen reads.

Did you say it was recognized in Kies but firmware recovery failed? If so, and you were using Kies (not Kies 3), we may assume the last system update was not older than Android 4.1.1. I'll suggest you try these steps (in that order),i.e. if one doesn't work, try the next step ..
1. Try booting into recovery mode and doing a hard wipe/reset
2. Download the correct stock image from the thread below and flash via Odin. If you need help with flashing via Odin, please let me know

3. Open Kies. Do not connect the phone yet. Go to Tools => Firmware Upgrade and Initialization. Enter your phone model name (SGH-I747)=>OK and serial number. Check device information inside the battery compartment. Wait for firmware download to complete and you are prompted to connect the phone and follow the rest of the on-screen instructions.
4. Contact the vendor to find out what they did wrong and see what refund options you have
Ok, so I also wasn't able to get into recovery.
I decided to flash cwm via odin. After it flashed the phone rebooted and turned on normally. I have turned it on and off like 5 times and everytime it boots normal.....But, there is still a problem... baseband version is Unknown and there is no IMEI Number.

hi, yes those were the steps I tried and the result was fail. Now that I can boot it, it shows its 4.3 but no baseband and no imei.

Oh, it's 4.3. Perhaps even better because you may be able to flash the 4.3 restore image. Your baseband/modem is corrupt or missing which is why it's showing the no baseband message.
Please see the thread below for the complete 4.3 stock restore image. Download the stock restore image and flash via custom recovery.

I suggested custom recovery and not custom ROM. The idea is to get your phone back in working order first. Flashing a complete stock restore image should do it. Please refer to the thread I forwarded earlier. You should be able to flash custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP) to your phone via Odin and then use the custom recovery to flash the stock restore image.

when trying to reflash the stock 4.0.4 rom via odin it says " FAIL! (Auth) "

You may just need to flash the mjb modem as it appears to be on mjb bootloader which you cannot downgrade from (that's why Odin is failing to flash that old firmware... you should be able to flash 4.3 with Odin though)

Currently, there is no stock 4.3 ATT ROM that can be installed via Odin. You'll have to look for a 4.3 ROM that has been compiled to be flashed via Odin.
Do not attempt to flash any ROMs via Odin that tries to downgrade the bootloader and attempting to downgrade could brick your phone.
I had the same problem today..I fixed it by flashing the MJB modem in recovery again..
