That's the result of advertisement codes embedded in the page itself... Maybe you should try some ad-blocking tools. As for me, I just ignore them or use the clients to browse the forum.

Its malware-advertising.... If your phone is rooted you can install this app and it should fix it. Plus it will block all ads.

Our friend jujuburi has published a great app: awesome note, directly from Note 8.0.
Originally, it was for Note 2, but I tried it and worked great in Nexus 4!!
This is HIS work, not mine, so credits go for him!

How to add a fast-call icon for one of my contacts on home screen? Can't manage to do that.
Inviato dal mio X9006 utilizzando Tapatalk
From the contacts list, select a contact to view detailed info. Then, tap the namecard icon at the bottom of the screen. You'll see an option to "Add shortcut to home screen".

Don't work, here is what happens when I click the namecard (third) icon:

Sorry, but apparently, my method is just for ColorOS v2.0.
I just checked it with v1.2 and i end up with the same screen too.

Add a direct-dial widget for the contact needed on your homescreen.

So a third-part widget is the only way?

Hi everybody! I've been using CyanogenMod 11 for a while, I currently have the 140712 nighly right now... I've noticed that there are horizontal lines on the display that seems more evident on red colors... Is anybody else experiencing this?
I made a shot with another phone...

Horizontal lines could be a hardware problem... Do you have a nandroid backup from before it started? If you restore and the problem is gone, you might be in luck...
It's software, maybe the video driver... Restoring stock rom brings colors to work right

Are you running a custom kernel? I'm not sure what might be available on the "stock" CM11 kernel, but I know other kernels have color tweaks. Search your settings for color calibration.
Its not software. Youre screen is burned in. I have the exact same issue. Its common on amoled screens. Only solution is to replace the screen.

Why the SPOILER tags? ...
Install BBS ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809 ), those screenshots are useless
It's something you did, I use Nova all the time, never seen anything like this on my Battery screen.
Anyone have this problem after the update to marshmallow? Hotspot WiFi is disappeard!

Same problem for me
No fix for this? I need it to receive files on apps like ShareIt /Xender...
Tethering (wifi and usb) on Nexus 7 2013 has been completely removed by Google on Android 6. I haven't tried but I think there are some apps on play store that give the ability to make a hotspot
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
I don't get why Google removed that feature that is really useful. When I use ShareIt/Xender Wi-Fi Hotspot it turns on but doesn't works maybe just need to change some config about IP address using terminal emulator/adb shell because we don't have that config ui on our tablet any more
Enviado desde mi Nexus 6P mediante Tapatalk
Try mohammads rom for nexus 7 deb version. Deb has the hotspot so using this custom rom based LTE version enables the hotspot feature...
