The USB connector on my Tab 3 7" is damage.
I can not get the cable in and just by looking at it I can see that some pins are bent.
The table is only 3 months old.
I was wondering if it was possible to return it to Samsung for repair under the warranty?
I'm not even sure if that's cover?
Or try to do the repair my self.
Any help or suggestion are welcome.

Thanks I did that.
I Received an excellent service from Samsung Canada.
I have had a couple Samsung cables crap out on me. I have been using an LG G2 cable and it works better I think. Charge even seems faster, and longer.

My problem was with the connector within the table.
Also, like mention by aliquzwini, make sure that the charger is not above 5V, 2A.
Yes it will charge a lot faster but your battery life will be affected in the long run.
Thanks for your suggestion anyway

Is it just me.. Or does the charger keep falling out too easily from the charging port?
I haven't damaged it or treated it wrong.. It keeps falling out easily when I pick up the device.
I have tried the supplied white cable.. And still had my galaxy s3 cable.. Does same.
Anyone else.?

I've just trimmed a small amount of the plastic casing off the cable to make it sit better (which it does now) the angle of the bezel causes the cable not to sit fully into the port.

On inspection, I've noticed that the port is recessed quite far back into the phone. I'm hoping it's just a problem for a few handsets. I called three today and they're sending me another Note 2. Let's see if this one is any better.
No problems here. Did you try any other micro usb cable.. some fit better than others
Yep it's rubbish. The plug needs to be longer. The socket is too recessed. Easy enough to remove some of the casing of an old usb lead. Will update, to see how well it works.

As I mentioned in my previous post, trimming a cable a bit works just fine.

Mine too. Keeps falling off every now and then. I bought HDTV adapter (the Samsung proprietary one for the S3) and that has a much longer micro usb and that fits in tight. I read somewhere that samsung has modified the micro USB port (some 5 pin connector or something like that, for the MHL) could it be because of that?

I have been using an N7000 for 2 years now. A great phone - but the achilles heel has definitely been power. I had three bateries for it. Got one of those fat aftermarket batteries with the phone cover - it was absolutely useless - I don't think it even held the equivalent power of 33% of an OEM battery. Picked up another aftermarket battery similar in size to the OEM battery. In fairness, that hasn't been too bad - it's only in the last few weeks that it seems to have tanked - cant get much of a charge on it now.
Even with all of those - when I would go away travelling, there still was no comfort. I would have to curtail the way I used the phone. It's for that reason that I've turned to this power bank.
Only received it yesterday - but it seems to be exactly the same as the OP's. Charging it right now.
@Warnahly: Has the power bank retained its integrity since you first started using it? In real terms, what do you suspect is the real power storage of this device (if we are to work on the basis that it probably doesn't strictly live up to the 30K mAh description?

Most of the companies stick the NFC antenna inside the battery, not on the phone itself so if you loose your battery and buy a generic one , as long as it doesn't have the antenna inside, you also loose NFC capability...
