Try a different USB port. Specifically, not a front port if you have a desktop.

Just bought a new laptop yesterday and trying to setup so i thought all 4 ports would be the same but I will try your suggestion to see if it will work.
People have a lot of luck installing PDA net on their computer. When you plug your phone in PDA net will install the drivers correctly. I know..weird. it works

I've tried that way with PDAnet also, still no joy,,,tried all four ports and nothing doing.
I know this sounds dumb. Try all the different cords you have and restart your computer. I have 5 cords. Only one works for my nexus. Lame

Brilliant,,thanks
I just got my Galaxy Nexus in the mail today and literally just sold my computer and have no way of accessing one at the moment. Does anyone know of a method to unlock the bootloader and root from the phone itself? Thanks in advance for any help.

It is impossible to unlock a bootloader without being plugged into a computer.

Improbable, my friend. Looks like I'm going to install the SDK on my Touchpad running Arch... this is gonna take a while. Thanks anyway.

You do not need to install the SDK to unlock your bootloader. All you need is the driver for your device and the fastboot binary. That's it.
Look at the "flash yakju" link in my signature. It gives you instructions on how to unlock.

I'm aware, but I need the sdk and Eclipse for other things. Might as well kill two birds with one stone while I'm at it. And you don't need drivers for Android phones in a Linux distribution, thank god .

I understand the skepticism so would like someone to publish a legitimate review as this is almost definitely fake.

Hello,
I would like to kindly ask you how much is a I9250XXLJ1 phone worth.
Is 75euro a good price for it (given it's a few years old)?
If I buy it in Australia will it work in Europe as well?
Moreover, could I root it, and install never Android versions (latest available Android version is 4.3)?
Thank you for your help.
it is not worth
