Official 4.4.2 - Installed, Rooted. Google account issues - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

* I successfully installed Official 4.4.2 via WiFi.
* I rooted it using ODIN with this file: CF-Auto-Root-jfltetmo-jfltetmo-sghm919.tar
* Installed SuperSU & Titanium backup
* I also installed CWM 6.0.4.4 Touch Recovery using ODIN: OUDHS-Recovery-jfltetmo-1.0.3.3.tar
* Removed several bloat using titanium.
All works good, except it is not letting me to add google account. "Problem communicating with Google severs". It has been more than 24 hours, I still get the same message.
I could go to my gmail account using web browser, but it is not letting me to add google account. So there is nothing wrong with servers.
So now I can't login to play store at all.
Any help is highly appreciated!!
Thanks!

Only thing i can think of is installing the latest play store & play services (they're probably newer than 4.4 stock) and wiping data for both

Worked! Thank you!!

Probably a bad download/flash. Do a factory data reset and install a freshly downloaded ROM file. If it works OK then redownload apps from the market.

Thank you.
I will try that. will that remove root or anything?
I can load my info back up with my titanium.... right?
After a few tries, it worked!! thank you.
FYI -
The problem was something in my titanium back up info. I was successful after I deselected anything having to do with the phone app (there are 4-5 apps associated with it) and now works like a charm! YAY
I was inspired to pay for the PRO Titanium after the 2nd backup restore! LOL
I'm having a similar issue except it's with the Google Play Store, I was able download Titanium but after that I haven't been able to get back into the store, only getting FC. I also tried going to the Play Store site and downloading it but it says it's not compatible with my device. Is my only option to reflash Clean GB?
Thanks in advance.

Just a guess, you flashed the a2z right after you flash rom and gapps. You might want to try booting up, signing into your gmail account, then flashing in your a2z zip. I haven't used that in a while, but I think I had this same issue.
If that doesn't work try clear data/cache for Google Play Services.

This is exactly what had happened to me. You fix this by going to data/data then find the folder called scd.app2zip. Delete that folder. Then reboot. Reinstall the app and it should work

Since there is no external sd card for my Nexus 7, how did you get this to work on the Nexus?

google play problems

I tried flashing a rom and ended up resetting my phone, yet i retained all my messages. So I didn't lose all my numbers or anything. I can make and recieve phonecalls and text just fine. It says i have 4g and i dont have trouble accessing the network for internet (with or without wifi) . I have all my important apps and contacts saved onto titan backup but i cant access google play store to download it. "unfortunately google play store has stopped"
Google play movies and music wont open, yet i can open samsung apps. And when I try my google app it gives me a network error
Any advice on what I can do?
Try wiping days for the play store, play store services and Google framework. Then reboot.

you rebooted after? its google services framework
so did the rom you were attempting to flash actually install?
Did you happen to flash a Verizon ported rom? I.e. synergy, axis, hyperdrive ?
Or was this a custom ROM like cyanogenmod or aokp ?

also, go to settings > apps > all and scroll down to see if, google download manager is disabled. If it is, select and enable it, then try play store again
it was paranoid android, that didnt work so i tried to restore my backup. But it said MD5 mismatch or something and i ended up with a reset phone.

yes it was.
and i'm assuming since the flash didnt work that you're on stock now? hmmm
Sounds like a Gapps problem. If you're on something other than stock, go to that ROMs thread download and reflash Gapps for your ROM.

[Q] Error 927 play store

Hi guys
I am getting an error 927 when trying to download or update apps. I have the latest version of the play store, with the new design and all.
People are saying it has something to do with the developers servers and all but no apps are downloading, doesn't matter which developer made it.
Have you tried wiping your cache and rebooting?

It could also be an odex file with same name as play store.
Just rename file by adding a 1 save reboot and try.
I had this problem with a single app because of a odex file I used root explorer to rename.

Play Store And Gmail not working

..
Rohan12315 said:
Since yesterday my play store and gmail stopped working.
I am on resurrection remix 5.0.7.
I think the problem is with adblock.I had installed rom toolbox and enabled adblock. Then without disabling adblock I uninstalled rom toolbox.
I dont know whether clearing hosts file will do it.
Is there any way to get play store running?I had this problem before and flashing a new rom fixed it but i dont want to wipe my data or flash a new rom now.
I tried deleting cache, data, updates of play store and play services but no luck.
Any solutions?
