Android 4.3 sense 5.5 - HTC One X

HTC One S upgrade to Android 4.3 sense 5.5 custom rom but why HTC One X not upgrade to Android 4.3 sense 5.5....
HTC One X latest device compare to HTC one S and one S dual core and one X quad core ........
Anyone help why not our great devs working on it....

because you need read in general or google instead posting again. one x no 4.3 or 4.4 because nvidia bad, not giving htc sources to make 4.3 or 4.4 for tegra 3. nexus 7 has different tegra 3, got 4.4. htc will no make update for us because nvidia bad, not possible

[ROM]ROMs for HTC One M8 & Nexus 5: which one?

Hello,
I do have 2 devices: the HTC One M8 (GSM) and the LGE Google Nexus 5
Both are unlocked, rooted.
I would like to experiment a custom ROM for each.
Which ROM(s) do you recommend?
Knowing that I'm looking for a "followed" project with OTA updates availabilities.
I like using GAPPS
And, if possible for the HTC One M8, a ROM based on Android 4.4.4 rev.
Thanks.

Upgrade

When will our htc one v see either kitkat or lollipop

Android N beta for M8 GPE?

Just wondering if the newest Android N beta would come to GPE devices?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HTC probably won't make one, but if someone will port the rom from another android device with android N , it is possible the beta comes to the HTC one M8.

HTC Desire 816 G Stock Rom on HTC Desire 820G Plus ?

Honestly Im appalled by the lack of support for the Desire 820G Plus and the fact that we are in March 2016 and its still running Kitkat 4.4.2 *Ridiculous cause i switched from a bricked Samsung E7 that was already running lollipop and had multitasking screen*
Im not new to flashing roms but there is almost none for the 820G+
so i was reviewing specs for the Desire 816G and they're almost the same given Mediatek 6592
Since it has them same specs i was wondering if the 816G stock rom which is 4.4 as well *but upgradable to lollipop* could be flashed on the 820G+ successfully and updated to lollipop
and maybe one day when HTC decides to update the 820G+ id revert back ...........or not... since i see no point
I hope someone informatively addresses this question as i am tempted to try yet don't want to brick two phones in the same month :fingers-crossed:

Desire 816G has an MT6582 processor running on android 4.4.2 and has not yet received any Lollipop update and is highly unlikely to receive any.
Even if Desire 816G and 820G+ had the same CPU, flashing another phone's firmware with a tool like SP Flashtool can irreparably kill the device.
They are one of those HTC devices which don't ship with HTC Sense skin but have an advantage of having far much more free internal memory compared with their Sense counterparts which have almost half the free space available due to Sense trash.
It is safer to port a custom ROM like CM12 for it and flash it with a custom recovery

will there be an oreo(android 8.x.x) update

Will there be an oreo(android 8.x.x) stock rom or custom rom for this device( htc one m9) based on htc sence
If yes by when it might be available
Stock rom, no. It was announced when 7.0 was released that 7.0 would be the last update by htc for the m9.
As for custom roms.. Wait and see. I'm surprised one isn't already out.
