Just Got My New "Leather" Case 15.99

i've been looking for a case that wasn't too expensive.
i found one on ebay. i've never purchased anything from ebay,
so after getting over my fear and suspicions i pulled the trigger and
purchased this:

received it today and it's perfect - all i hoped it would be !

what do you think about that one

[Q] [Help] Slimmest, Lightest case for Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G.

Hey Guys,
I'm trying search for some sort of a folio case of sorts for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It should be slim and should be able to keep the tablet slightly lifted to allow easier typing and also allow it to stand vertically. I have a folio case but lately it causes the screen to create the famous oil slick issue.
the only other decent looking case I found was this
Does anyone have any experience with the above or any other suggestions.

Ugh, Pink! It's so last year. Sorry for the take, I'm interested in this as well.

I've got a smart cover on my galaxytab and love it. Barely affects the thickness and has the two positions you're looking for. Mine isn't pink though.=D

That's the one I got (only in grey/white). Good solid fit with no movement once it's locked in. It should do everything you need it to. The only issue I have with it is that you need to open fold back the cover to charge. Thinking about getting the craft knife out to cut a slot myself...
Edit: does anyone know if this case works with the Samsung desktop dock?? The cover needs folding back to reveal the charging port so wondering if that makes it too 'thick'...

Does the magnet actually keep the cover on? I thought I read somewhere that there's no metal for it to cling to.

This is the old style smart cover... you should purchase another style.

do you have a suggestion to what the "other" style could be?

The magnet doesn't hold the cover shut. It only holds the triangularily shaped folded cover in position to act as a stand for the tablet. As already said, there is no magnetic material inside the tab to use magnets to keep cases shut.

I personally have the PU Leather Case Smart cover. It works just fine but damn is it heavy . Where I can normally watch a movie while holding the tablet, I cannot while using the smart cover, it just makes it to heavy.

That sounds great but I am still looking for something that is light cause I'm always on the go and don't want the extra bulk. I am currently eyeing a Galaxy Tab 10.1 2 Book cover, it seems to fit our tabs perfectly. I just wonder if that is heavy or what.

I'm currently looking at Tab 10.1 2 book cases on ebay. Cheap and look quite slim and light.

Its light, thin, elegant and sturdy.... not very practical though ...

I have a note 3 belt case its a bit width loose(opo is thinner) but if you had it in a gel case for e.g it will fit snugly.

It's probably close enough. OP is a smidge taller and a smidge narrower. I'm looking at the cases now on ebay, may just order one for $7.95 to how it fits.
edit: Ok, see that someone with the case recommended a gel case to have it fit snugly. cool!

I just purchased this one yesterday. I plan on getting a stronger carabiner for it but will probably use it on the belt loop mostly. I think this is nice because of the size of the phone but also so I can take some of the stuff I keep in my pockets in it. We will see how it works out.

It just came in. It does fit on the phone a little loosely and it sticks out the top about two millimeters. It won't fall of the phone, the phone's grippy back makes sure of that. It's very thin and flexible but that's what you get when you pay only $5. but it'll do what I want which is to keep the screen and back from getting scratched when it's in my pocket or I set it down on a surface.

Those metal bumper cases fit "perfectly" on the phone itself. With "perfectly" I mean "the bumper even has a tiny screw to mount the case on the phone, because the aluminium cannot be easily folded".
That being said, IMHO, for a phone of this dimensions: if You cut out a bumper from a TPU (which is really flexible on the SIDES of the phone, because of its length) it can fall out really easy.
Anyway, keep us informed if You do it and how it goes

I have the case. And the fit isn't snug at all. There's slight movement in mine. Plus it's an insane scratch magnet. Only used it for 2 days and now the Sony logo is difficult to see. Good thing it was really cheap when I bought it off of ebay. You get what you pay for.
