I got the HTC One X a couple of days now and i found out why we got a battery drain on our beloved HTC One x and get hot!
It is not because some apps or anything else but its the wifi that try to connect but draw so much power because the bad connection to the back cover.
So i was wonder could you fix the Wifi without soldering and fix the battery life, and it work out prettt well!
What you need for this method is the following
Sissor
Tape (water and electronic resistance is a must)
Iron wire
And aluminium foil
This is all for now since i don't have a camera on me now i can't take pics or shoot a video.
But if you wondering why i did it way is because after i solder my wifi i broke the 2 golden pins and my wifi was not working anymore.
So i thinking there must be a better way! and i found one.

I thought it would be nice to have a separate thread for panoramic shots (mod, if this doesn't make sense then feel free to merge it with the regular photo thread that is already going).

That first pic is beautiful.
I'm still getting the hang of moving while taking the pic... It does a really good job of stitching the pics together, but sometimes I notice that things will get a little skewed, particularly if the camera's at an angle.

Hey guys,
I'm trying to remove the battery to replace with a 3800mah one, but it's stuck and I can't get it out. I've tried wedging the damn thing out and it still doesn't work. I'm pretty sure I destroyed the battery because I can't turn my phone on now, I just want this thing out, what should I do?

This. I used to have an E4GT and then I got the YSOD and 5 minutes later my phone exploded, shrapnel flying everywhere. Still have a piece of the screen lodged in my groin, doctors said they can't take it out because the risk of losing my junk was too high. Was going to replace it but honestly, it's not worth the risk. Decided to play it safe and got an iPhone 4S instead.
Be careful OP, the YSOD is serious sh*t.

A yellow tint over the screen can be two things. Either your ribbon cable connecting your screen to the board is loose or damaged (new screen will fix the problem) or the GPU on your board was overheating (whole new phone if it burns up). Are you running any custom ROMs? What were you doing when it happened? Have you dropped your phone?

It happened about 20 mins. after using odin to go to stock ek02 I was reading an article in wikipedia and all of a sudden everything had a yellow tint I thought it might just be the site but, then I found it was the entire phone screen. I wasn't doing anything that could have overloaded the gpu and, I haven't dropped my phone at all. After a quick google search I found that it could be a software problem since some other people have also had this problem but, it could also be a defect with the screen.... If you have any ideas please let me know.

Interesting effort. How much does this rely on HTC's software? I'm curious whether you can maybe do anything to address the terrible number of dropped frames on the One X's stock camera app.

UPDATE:
I have managed to record at 24mbs as seen in this screenshot, this is at 19fps
However what I am experiencing at the moment is a large amount of lag between pressing the record button and the it displaying on the screen that it is recording, the bit rate seems to be a bit of hit and miss, it will record at 24mbs a second sometimes and others it will do 16mbs or less. I believe this is to do with the frame rate, so it looks like we will need to sacrifice frames for a higher bit rate.. more testing and trying things out needs to be done, but it looks like it may take a little longer before I public on this.
Can You try recording at 720p 10-12 mbps whit Htc camera ?
Thank you
But I think a constant high fps(~30) is more important than pure quality...
