Ok so I sideloaded 4.4 on to my tablet. I did it on stock no Rom and not rooted. I downloaded the .zip from android police.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/11/13/your-kitkat-is-ready-download-and-flash-android-4-4-ota-update-krt16o-for-2013-wi-fi-nexus-7/
Everything worked out great and looked well. But then I noticed, that may mic input wasn't working. Every time I try to use google search or mic input on the keyboard, The mic icon will just flash randomly as if it's picking up sound, but never pick up my voice. Now I wanted to know if there is a fix for this, or did I just **** up my sideload?
I've tried to use the Official Factory Image for both 4.3 and 4.4, but I keep getting the error:
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification is wrong
Any help would be great, Thank You.

Hey hey,
You shouldn't sideload the KRT16S factory image. You need to sideload the ota update (marked KRT16O->KRT16S OTA - flo/WiFi) at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2534698. That's assuming you are currently on KRT160 of course.

Thanks, I side loaded KRT16O. That's when my mic first stopped working. The OTA update to KRT16S came out 2 days later. So I updated to it OTA. So I am currently on KRT16S... Any ideas?
Thanks for the reply btw!

My first course of action would be a wipe in recovery of the data and cache. Have you already tried that route?

Hmm, well next I'd make a nandroid then backup using titanium backup (just in case), and make sure you've got the 4.4 factory image (obviously not just the ota). Then I'd go to custom recovery, factory reset, wipe system, data, dalvik and cache, and then flash the stock image.
That's what I'd try at least... Maybe somebody else will have a better idea. You are on stock kernel, right?

That is what I also did. Just downloaded the KRT16S factory image from Google developers site and flashed it.
So I just an hour ago booted my phone and used FreeGee to unlock the bootloader and install ClockworkRecovery. I factory reset, cleared the cache and the Dalvik cache, and flashed the latest stable Cyanogenmod no problem. Ever since then, however, my phone will only boot into Clockwork, and not a single thing I do is helping. Is there anyone here who can help me with this?

im having this problem too except im on Phill's recovery. @jimi_pooh thanks for the help but it's kind of vague. Im still confused on what the fix is. Is their a flashable cwm or twrp? I cannot find Madmack's hacked twrp either.

I'm on Philz too but not the updated one. That one seems to be having problems. I also see Esimon311 helped you out. Did that work? If not try using the first version of Philz recovery assuming you already had a lokied version of CWM running before this happened. It can be found in the General Section. The information I posted before was for ADB commands. I would not suggest that if you are not familiar with ADB.

So my sister recently bought a used phone running 4.1.2 and it started rebooting on its own for some reason or another. I am able to get into twrp 2.3.1.1 recovery and do a factory reset but the reboot loop problem still remains. I tried the other options in the wipe menu like wiping the internal storage but it says its unable to mount /data. Even in the Mount Menu i am unable to check the Mount data box.
I've also got the hurricane v4 rom downloaded but i am unable to install it for some reason. Is it because i am unable to mount the /data? Would a Format data work to install the hurricane rom? I've tried to download the 4.3 stock rom but not successful due to such a crappy internet connection. Luckily the hurricane v4 rom that i got from here supported the resume download function.

I also have note 2 with this strange reboot problem.
The OS doesn't matter at all for me (check that also).
If the problem will still remain, then I must say that it's a hardware malfunction.
Mine has it too, and does some random reboots at any time, specially when it has been used for longer time.

Go to mounts and storage and click on format/system, format/cache, format/preload , format/data and format/data and data/media (/sdcard)<--- this will format your internal storage,so back up if you have anything saved on it..NOTE: Do NOT format storage/sdcard1 cause this is your external sd card if you accidentally do format it you will lose all the contents on your sd card.If you still want to format your external sd card by this way make sure you have a card reader handy to be able to transfer the downloaded ROM and other contents on your sd card.
Now go back to main menu and click on advanced menu and wipe dalvik cache ,once again go back to main menu and click on wipe cache partition and go ahead and wipe it.At the very end go back to main menu and click on wipe data/factory reset and choose Clean to install a New ROM.Done.You have successfully performed all the wipes. Now you can go ahead and flash the ROM.

None of the modems worked. I've deleted the /system and /data and all the steps you gave me and restored back to 4.1.2 with twrp and the darnedest thing happened. no reboot loop, only thing is that there still is no service. The GCI screen shows up when booting (my cell phone service) . i was pretty sure the efs was checked when i backed it up a few days ago. I think i dun goofed on this one.
EDIT: Looking at the 4.1.2 backed up rom on my computer, there is a efs.ext4.win.md5 and a efs.ext4.win file on there.

So i finally got a premium link download on rapidgator and am downloading this stock rom atm. so its resumable (hooray!).
When done, i use the "PHONE" option in odin right? Im guessing installing the stock rom also re installs the stock recovery? Crossing my fingers (and toes lol) hoping this download finishes. If her phone doesnt work after all this i talked her into letting me buy it. It seems like a really nice phone. If she lets me buy it im thinking to get the Moga controller afterwards and installing some emulators and games, it'll be a nice little portable system.
SOLVED

Has anyone else noticed same? I ask because https://cyngn.com/support mentiones Cyanogen OS 12.1 (5.1.1) cm-12.1-YOG4PAS33J-crackling.
Thanks

Yep - changelog on twitter (Wileyfox).

You flash using TWRP. The zip can be put on sdcard (internal or external).
The dalvik cache holds some sort of compiled java code. For minor upgrades one can perhaps leave it untouched. For major upgrades one typically wipes it. It does not hurt to wipe dalvik cache. After install, it is regenerated as part of the android upgrade.
Note that stock firware is probably unrooted so you may want to reinstall supersu update zip from twrp. Also, upgrade may or may not overwrite twrp with stock recovery so you may have to reflash twrp.
I have not done the upgrade myself (I will one day, I have no Swift, a friend has one).
Success

You don't need to. You are wiping a system partition not a data one. There is no personal data on system.
