i downloaded this nice rom.
after installing it i noticed that there is no root.
my bootloader is unloacked

Nice rom... undoubtedly FASTEST I hv evr used.
I jst want u to add Titanium backup app + Rom control options (as we have in JJ Hybrid).
Also, does this rom support USB-OTG ??

Normally the usb hotsting function is determined by the kernel you use. The rom can simply have an integrated sys app that allows usb mounting and browsing, though even if not there are many free apps on the market that can do this easily. Doomkernel has the usb otg fucntions and so do some others though still with minor lacks of support like ntfs file systems ect.
by the way jader, what kernel do you reccomend fot usb hosting with ntf support for both usb and sd, also with swap or zram and other common tweaks?

i stuck on Sony Logo i follow the instruction....
3 time i try to install the rom... and it dont work.
any help ;(?

same happened to me on my xperia arc. But later I found a SOLUTION in original thread, which worked for me.
1. Open the zip file in your pc
2. Go to System --apps
3. Delete some apps to free memory (I deleted 3D-Camera)
4. Now transfer this edited rom zip file to your sd card and flash in recovery
I hope it ll work ( dnt delete any file about which you are not sure)

Well, just delete some files in /system of the ROM.zip, like 3d cam....

Stuck at logo
After smooth install, I got stuck at the sony logo like others reported before. I cannot access cwm anymore, is there anyway to get it back (since BL is locked)?

Did you install the latest firmware and given advanced stock kernel by jader? btw how did u manage to install cmw recovery with a locked BL?
I'm running .587 firmware with jaders advanced stock kernel and everything works fine though i have an unlocked bootloader so everything is easier.
I guess u just have to flash another working rom.....just my opinion

My SIM toolkit seems lost, how can re-install it?

Yeah, in system/bin there's "su" and symlinking in updater-script is also set properly, so...

(Q) photo Sphere ?

Hey , im running pac-man rom , and everything works great but when i try to use photo Sphere it just fc. Is there any way to fix this?

so the system dump file is still not avail for our phone,so nope! there is a flashable file in the themes section which does not fc

Forget about photosphere, it needs gyroscope which is not in the one v.

RECORDING AND VIDEO PLAYBACK(YouTube and gallery) BUG

Im using vokals gin2jellybean rom for some time and never had any problems, but in version 1.9.8 I had a bug when I try to record my video camera freezes and led stays on until I reboot the phone.Second thing is I cant play a video It says that it cant open it, same with youtube "error playing video tuoch to retry".I updated it to the newest 1.9.9 RC-1 but the errors are still here.Can someone help me because its really annoying that you cant record or play a video.

have you tried clearing data for youtube? and what is the version of the kernel you are using if you are using the 420 p of lupus the gin2jellybean is set to 720 p recording but not quite sure because it usually force closes, also maybe try wiping dalvik cache.

I tryed that already still the same, I reflashed the rom and nothing, what is wierd is that even when I flashed stock GB I had same error.Version of lupus kernel is 480p and was fine before. Thanks for trying to help me I appreciate it.

well if thats the case it could possibly be the markers of the ftf you had previously flashed have you reverted back to the original image of your phone?

Im now on gin2jellybean rom, I flashed GB just to see is it the rom that's causing the errors.maybe on doomlords kernel it will be fine.il try that

is this youtube app from your back up or is this downloaded from the market? if its not from the market maybe downloading the newest app on the market could help. also downloading flash player heres a link on the discussion for the help on youtube issue on the rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631144&highlight=youtube&page=191 just press thanks if somehow i helped you

I have installed Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Paranoid Android Custom ROM.
Booted again to flash the kernel.
Phone got stuck in HTC logo and not going to bootloader menu.
what should i do??? Please help me:/
Seriously bricked my phone :/

Wrong kernel is installed by u . Reflash correct krnel and reflash the rom as well after wiping data delvic and system.

the rom u downloaded and flashed isn't booting for others as well
so i suggest Shpongle

It just took hell lot of time to open..
it was restarting again and again..

then boot loader opened.. flashed the kernel .. and it is working now.
But my camera is not working in this jellybean version.. can u help me plz??????????????????

I've installed shpongle..
working fine.. Default camera crashes.. But camera fx app works.. Couldn't record video, only capture.. As gallery crashes..
If yours is working, please tell me which app you're using or from where you downloaded shpongle ROM?

yea that happens
just download the previous version of shpongle and replace the gallery.apk FROM THE PREVIOUS VERSION to the latest one
the apk file shud be in system/apps (inside ROM zip)
just extract gallery apk from previous version and install via this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2263431
or u can set permissions(waaay tougher for a newbie )

i recently flashed indonesian lollipop5.1 in my android one...but the problem is when i use my camera and the flash is turned on the camera flashes during the shot but the brightness of the flash is too high that when the image is clicked the image don't seems clear...the flashlight ruin the image through its brightness...what to do now?

This is a known issue with lollipop. Try using cymera when you need images with flash.

Try using a different camera app! . It worked for me!

Use another camera app until it resolves..
Btw im using retrica... lol
