Anyone?
as there are no sources for the dual sim to be fully functional there is not much point at the minute as only one sim card will work so either way for dual or single cm11 will work just on one sim card

I think it will be so useful so people don't have to use xperia m firmware, binaries, and baseband.
Although one sim will work, but it is still useful.

Notice :
Some countries like Egypt does not get Xperia M single sim in the market.
If you want xperia m you have to buy dual version.

After updated to 4.3 on my c2004 xperia m dual
to use cwm
i flash cwm+kernel from this thred link (also to root xperia m)
after that i cant make/get calls. no service
my signal bars are always mark as "x" symbol
to make a call i have to flash once again kenel alone from ftf
so is there is any way to implement cwm on xperia m dual 4.3 or how to correct no service problem
60 members seen still no solution

I do believe that it is because the kernel is for the Xperia M Single SIM only. Either flash the stock kernel from your firmware or find a 4.3 kernel with CWM for Dual SIM.
Hello xda developers,
I have flashed cwm recovery (for xperia M) in my M dual c2004 device. First thing it says is "Sim not provisioned MM 2" What is this? I think Xperia M is not a dual sim variant so the CWM designed for M does not support 2nd SIM? i think so.
Now I have flashed CWM recovery designed for M dual C2004. I successfully rooted my phone. Yippeeee.
My actual doubt is - if i flash xperia's kitkat firmware in my Xperia M dual device, will i be able to use my 2nd SIM?
What best can i do if i want a kitkat firmware which supports dual sim on my M dual c2004 phone?

sadly my dear friend there is not a single rom for our xm dual.
we will have to wait if Sony provides us with official kitkat rom
---------- Post added at 06:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:32 PM ----------
our only hope if a developer creates a dual sim rom may be someone like dhacker29 who made dual sim functional on moto g.
Questions go in the Q&A section and not here.please post there in the future, thank you
Hey thanks. What if I flash moto e kitkat firmware? This is dual sim variant.

Then you'll get a hard brick. Only ever flash Xperia M SS or Xperia M DS firmwares.

More than likely a well made port. Don't risk your device.
May be. I cannot take risk. If I do it should be calculated

there is a patch you need to flash in order to get your sims cards to work. I did the same, its working :good:
you will get the patch at xda, search for "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60989435" & go get the NEW MI2 patch & flash it. It works for me. It should for all C2004 devices.

Flashed many roms for XM on my XMD but network and sim not working yet.
so any ported custom kitkat roms for XMD ?
Note : CM-11 is only for 4.3 (15.4.x.x.x) baseband.
(Copied from CM11 Xperia M thread)
You really need to be on 4.3 for your signal to be working
I know there is a patch in one of the pages of the above topic
Or you can go to that thread and ask for the patch

There's no custom ROM for Xperia M dual. All custom ROMs available at the moment are for Xperia M single SIM only, you can flash them in Xperia M dual if you want, they'll work fine but you'll lost second SIM functionality...

You must flash Xperia M SS baseband before flashing custom ROMs. Then only SIM 1 will work...

After Flashing the Xperia M Rom Please make sure you first upgrade to latest firmware available. That is when you upgrade through PC companion
If you are using flashtool and flashing an ftf. Again do check the firmware and see that you have upgraded the baseband.
Check if your Sim is now working ?
Only then flash the custom Rom :fingers-crossed:
Hope you have a working SIM
Hi everybody. I have a sony xperia m dual sim (android 4.3). Is it possible to go back to android 4.1? If yes, what's the way?
But xmd is launched with 4.2.2 in my country, just you have to download and flash the .Ftf file
Sent from my C2004 using XDA Free mobile app
you can crossflash the single sim 4.1.2 fw but you won't be able to use both sims
Is a shame, Xperia t2 is updated and oir beloved t3 is still with 4.4.4... I contacted Sony but no answer yet...

We have CM12? and which bugs?
We do have CM12. AFAIK the only bits that don't work are camera, sound and LTE. Also, flashing current CM12 build results in a bootloop so that needs to be fixed, too.

C3 and T2 ultra Ftf files are already available, and also t3 AOSP source code.
Could you use these things to try to port L to our T3 devices?
Thanks!

If we could have a STABLE AOSP i could try... But is buggy...
Sent from my D5103 using XDA Free mobile app
AOSP lacks audio amp (speaker) and camera support. It's only unusable experiment.
Programing hardware drivers is kind of job for professionals.
It looks like sony expects that someone would make this instead them.

Because thats the latest firmware you can get officially in your country (probably). I have 18.1.a.1.25 and It says is the latest too, but you still have 18.1.a.1.32. I think the differences are minimal, altleast from 25 to 32...
So is there any chance that we can get update??
Sent from my D5103 using XDA Free mobile app
@vmlc : 18.1.A.2.25 is for d5103 et d5106, 18.1.a.2.32 is for d5102 @obnoxiouschild : you can find the last version by using flashtool or xperifirm. in flashtool, click on "devices-check updates" select your phone, select your build corresponding to your country and your operator, or the "customized" for your country. if nope, you can choose one for an other country.
