Hey no problem! I've been checking pacs wesite about every 2 hours or so. The Hercules build failed but skyrocket passed. Im just happy to see that we will have another great ROM back for our old herc and PAC didn't toss us aside like a few ROM bakers have. Veeery grateful and patiently await PAC kitkat.:highfive:

I soooo love lockscreen notifications. One of these best features for Android to date in my opinion. Also dig contextual notification headers. So simple but it really adds to the notification/quick settings panel.

Wait no more ladies and gentlemen! PAC has arrived for our hercs!! Running it now and the options are ahhhmazzing!! :highfive::victory: I shall enjoy this old school gamer goodness.
Guys be aware a lot of 4.3 features may yet be missing we are waiting on a lot of features to be brought up to 4.4 by their respective devs.
Edit: I'm counting on you guys to work with me on making this build work for you so any issues that arise please let me know. And if you logcat use pastebin and link here please. This will allow us an organized and productive thread.

Yea I know if that was the case this ROM would take a couple of months to release if they wanted to release all features in kitkat
I know there is a logcat app how do you use it have no issue helping out
like the boot up who did the boot nice
I don't use apps I use adb on my PC. Much easier for me.

I think you have to configure settings.apk in per app settings. Change the tablet ui to phone ui.

@aways The only issue that i have is:
Somehow Softkeys (Called Navigation bar in ROM Control settings) was activated when I was playing with PA Settings and now I can't remove it.
I tried to disabled in System > Toolbars > Navigationbar but Settings gives me FC.
Neither couldn't disable it with the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" in buid.prop
Erm, i have a question, how does this ROM differ from the PA rom?

Nav keys are disabled not in there, choose hybrid properties/interface/workspace/navbar height 0%...

an official build for us toro users eh? hmmm I have been testing all those ports for a while now and hoping this would show up . Will be awaiting the update to PA 3.56 once they drop the source for it. The only way I can see PAC getting better is if they dropped the C and put a X for xylon loll

I like how if you clear recents it keeps the app you are in until hitting clear a 2nd time.
I did notice lock screen targets don't change in ROM control, but they do in settings, customization, lock screen. don't know if this is a known issue (no big deal to me).
Also noticed there is no brightness slider in with power widgets.

I ran pacman on my inc2 and there were things that showed up in multiple settings locations and you had to find the right one for them to stick. More of an inconvenience than an issue. I loved the rom though. I may try this one out soon.

Man I can't say anything because I have only used the 4.2 Keyboard since it came out haven't used swift key or swype since.

well it looks like illusion and rootbox are dead in the water at least for now, and xenon still making ready for 4.3, so that leaves some open time/space/spots so decided to try building pac and pa again...so far so good with pac...figured a ton of things out...lol tomorow ill try pa if pac is successful

i feel ya there i have two lgogs in my house but my wife does not let me touch hers its 100% as it came from the store...lol....anyone ever run pac before any tips of gapps packages? just use the usual baanks? or is it supposed to be multi-dpi gapps? ive never flashed a single pac rom ever so im clueless here
hope everyone has been chargin their phones shes finished adding a few touches and will be uploading ...

I have not flashed it before but I did read on another device that was flashing PM to use PA Gapps
BTW My wife is the same with her LGOG.
I've used PAC before and I loved it! Its been a bit since I flashed it but I'm fairly sure I was just flashing the regular gapps and everything worked fine... That was with 4.2 though

No, that link will become active. The only reason it's asking for username / password is because basketbuild has been off and on recently after switching servers.

Just curious what's the customization like on these 4.4.2 builds of the developers don't have the source yet, just considering it it'll be worth the upgrade from my feature packed and stable JB PACman ROM

Sounds like a good surprise on the extra features, I know this is a little nitpicky...but would I be safe to use an app like DPI utility to make things a little smaller saaayy stock 320DPI down to 280 or 240?

Yes yes yes I recommend xposed that way you can alter per app dpi and put your device into phablet mode. IMO this device is too big to use in phone mode.

Hmm I didn't expect that feature to still be included in the first KK release! that means I can still have my dual-panel email, settings, pandora, play store and etc? and since we're about 53 minutes away from the release what exactly is the DPI number the phone will automatically change the layout of the apps?

whenever it does come out,,, I have no worries will be great.
I've checked for other phones like the sprint Galaxy S3 and for them the countdown was actually legit :-\ they've got their first KK nightly build and it's making me very jealous... But I guess it'll be a couple of days like y'all said.

No it won't. As it is an AOSP based ROM it has its own kernel that it must run and the retail note 3 cannot have kernel flashed at the moment.
Which sucks as I was the PAC maintainer for the Note 10.1 and would live to have it on this bad boy............maybe some day.

Yup. Running now. Everything seems good right now except for GPS. Can't see any satellites. Ran into the same problem with CM 11 nightly.
Pacman rom is available for droid bionic.. I might fire up the old girl and flash it on there.
