[Q] [HELP] Downgrade UMT - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello I'm french so I'll try to be a maximum understandable, but it is not easy with the translator
to start I have a htc desire hd 2.3.5 sense 3.0 and I want to Root, I understand that I must first downgrade but the Ultimate Multi Tool software is not functional, it does not work if I understand.
I want to know how to be able to root my htc DHD? because I want to provide Roms enjoy!

i have DHD with android 2.2 and kernel kernel 2.6 (g88454e0)
i believe its new one and with arabic support
however i hardly manged to root the device but not permenant root
and here i stooped and cant S-off the device
i want to install new ROM Gingerbread cyanogen 7 so please help me what to do?

Im a newbie of android phone . I own a Spice MI270 with is 2.2 froyo which i would like to upgrade to 2.3 Gingerbread. pls help me how to upgrade it. let me know if i have to flash it & then install..if so pls help me the process. i need a basic explanation on it cause im new to all this .

i cant do downgrade....it says failed to copy on sd card....read only file system.... how to do that
that was on screen in hack ace.... please help me how to enable to writing on sd card that files for downgrade
