This. Even if we managed to get it working, don't expect much from it (or any videochat apps in general):
-We have no GPU, so it would have major performance issues.
-We have no front camera, so it would have to be one-way videochat.
-The screen res is rather low, so, even without the above issues, video quality would be sub-par.

i prefer that gallery over HTCs gallery
as well maybe some help on how to install it
:f you use it u will not be able to launch gallery from the camera app because its tied to HTC album

If you have HTC sync installed on your computer, a window to your internal storage will appear. Alternatively, click on internal storage in my computer.
I can't even get HTC sync to install, let alone get the phone to be seen by my laptop. Really not impressed at all by HTC's software. Sent them an email and am waiting an answer.

I don't see how people have issues with MTP - just browse it like you would any other drive on your PC and copy data to/from it. It's not that hard...
It only isn't hard if the drivers install which it doesn't on win 7 32.so the only thing that appears is the cd drive and the mtp driver fails.

I have an WIn7 64 bits i7 with 16GB RAM and also the MTP driver failed since the update to Android 4.1.

oh yes, so easy, try it with GNU/Linux and GoMTP that have not support for One X
btw on Windows should be easy as click on the drive and do all as usually. yes
Deinstall old HTC sync..download newest version..install..and it should work again..maybe reboot...you can also deinstall again...drivers will stay..but there's a thread for this already..just use search....

I also have the same problem.
My HTC One X can been seen in My Computer but it just would not show all the files stored in my HOX..
I do not know why.
Same problem but in the end installed airdroid app and works perfect for transferring files.
I gave up with HTC sync its rubbish and to much hassle.

I have use xperia for years and notice that it had only 200mahz greater than Nokia x and last for full one day without charging after gaming activities unlike Nokia x. I think it is due to its stamina mode and various other mode in built in it. Plz answer that is xperia l rom is compatible with Nokia x???

you're asking if you can flash xperia rom on nokia x? the answer is no, you can only flash roms (stock/custom) made for the nokia x
You cannot do it. Flashing a rom made for another device into yours is just not possible. But you can still try porting a xperia rom into your Nokia X, but always remember a rom can be ported only if both the devices have the same chipset and resolution. However, porting a rom doesn't always result in a success.

Ram memory only 512 mb.
Windows 8 or maybe 8.1 is it fully upgradable ?
Low number of apps and games available.
Unable to jailbreak or is able ?

Windows 8 or maybe 8.1 is it fully upgradable ? - You can update to the latest 8.1 update 1 only with the preview for developers app (currently)
Low number of apps and games available. - This is a general Windows phone issue, I have not found it to be a massive issue.
Unable to jailbreak or is able ? - No Windows phones cannot be 'jailbreaked' or rooted.
I own this phone, but would not personally recommend it.
You may be buying it for the design but I think you may be disappointed by its performance.
The phone is now 2 years old and there are better performing Windows phones available.
I bought this phone and updated to developer preview 8.1 0.14203.306, works well.

viber notifications now work i didnt done anything to fix it i mean i restarted the phone they were not working i disabled&enabled everything it was not helping, but now they are fixed by itself and working i cant believe it.
