I'm getting ready to sell my Galaxy S3 and figure I should unroot and get it back to stock before doing so. What is the best /easiest way to accomplish this. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is it possible to Odin back to stock without a computer? I am currently in the process of packing and moving and have no internet or computer right now.
I want to flash back to stock because of some rebooting and staying off issues with my phone.

Thanks for the suggestion I just tried it right now and it just said this device is not supported. To create a system dump.
So I'm guessing it doesn't work for the t989.

Does Windows recognize your phone at all when you plug it in?

If you haven't already, try Odin 1.85 or 3.05. The only 2 I've ever used that worked. 3.07 wouldn't flash stock JB for me, 3.05 did. 1.85 should do the older ics or GB I would think.

1.85 was the other version I tried and still a no go

You're still on the MDL bootloader, so simply flash the 4.3 MK2 modem.bin file in Odin and you will be on the latest BB.

Will I have to deal with the Knox junk tho once I flash to that bootloader

As long as you don't flash the 4.3 KNOX bootloader, you won't have to deal with it. Flash only the MK2 modem and you will be fine.
I guess mobile odin won't flash the modem? Will I have to do it on a laptop I take it?

People have said it took them a couple tries before it stuck. I used this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2544612
And I did use a laptop.

It is really iffy with MobileOdin. Try your laptop. Choose Phone, choose the modem.bin file, uncheck auto reboot, plug in your phone, press start. Once it says "passed," let it sit there connected for 30 seconds. Then manually reboot, it will stick. Good luck!

Ditto. I've tried CF-Auto Root, SafeRoot and neither one puts a dent in it...
I have the AT&T S4 having the same issues as well I just found this thread, planning on trying it out tomorrow. It should link to the T-mobile version.
