Today when when check for update from my Note 3 and i got a notification, i'd like to do the update but i got my Note 3 rooted since i got it. My question is can I update then rooted later, if so what kinda rot program i need to to, do i need to unrooted 1st ?

You got an update? Holy... if it was me, I'd update over my TweakedN3 and brick my phone then brag about how I got official Tmo KK. But I don't know about you... can you show a screenshot of the update?

I don't know why, but the xlite rom has killed my phone.
NO POWER WHATSOEVER.
I plugged it in to the wall and a I get a red LED for about a minute, and then it goes away.
This is my FIRST DAY w/ the GS3.

Why dont you tell me? Its obviously not the rom, a rom definitely wouldnt break your phone, or everyone who flashed it would be bricked like you are. So that only leaves one other thing that it could be and thats that you messed it up somehow

I watched the installation. It went thru the custom clockwork mod looking install, gave me a success, and said it would reboot. And now nothing.
HOW AM I NOT TO THINK THAT IT'S THE ROM?

I'll clue you in on the problem....xlite is a rom for the international galaxy siii and you are in a forum dedicated to the AT&T version. One would deduce that you flashed the wrong rom on your phone. My suggestion is to read, read, read before you flash anything else if you are able to unbrick your phone.

Dude, everyone else flashed it with no problem at all. If you had a problem, its YOUR fault. This is why devs have to put a disclaimer with there roms, cuz stupid people mess up there phones and blame it on the devs work. They arent the ones who did something wrong to your phone. They provide the ROM, they cant help it if you dont know how to use it

Keep it civil, name calling is inappropriate. You made mistake, it happens. Just pm a mod and have them move this thread to q&a, hopefully you can get your answer from more civil people...good luck.

I'm not sure how you installed it, but i don't think i've ever installed a custom ROM and it automatically rebooted...
Not to mention as someone else already stated, you seem to have flashed an International ROM on a USA S3....

if you can't get your phone into download mode...No. You hardbricked your phone flashing a rom not meant for the At&t GS3.

FYI, although we don't have true multi-window, the video player will go in and out of full screen/small window playback, so you can watch a movie while working on something else. That's one thing I wanted to be able to do and was surprised I could do it now, while waiting for the multi-window update.

I'm sure the Devs will have a flashable zip within minutes of it being out. . Think about it. .Once you revert and play with it. . DO NOT FLASH this rom as I do not know if it will go perfectly or catch your phone on fire. I take no responsibility for your actions.
With that said, here it is 4.3 for the N7100 and I was hoping that a developer would be able to port it. Judging from the discussion I have been reading Knox is included and causes some problems with root but you can disable Knox from your app manager. Anyone with porting experience care to weigh in?

I tried flashing a couple ROMs with this base and all they did was get as far as the boot screen, and then the phone vibrated in a pattern similar to Morse code lol XD I went to recovery and restored my last ROM and all was well. I hope we see a port soon!

This should get moved right away. The post is a slew of negative things that are counter productive to the community. One its false and misleading, titled at&t multiple times and posted in an at&t only forum, someone is going to brick their device and be out 700 bucks cause of this joker. Not to mention this is essentially spam, the only responses to this have been negative as its a fraudulent post, but that's not development and its doing nothing but bring down the integrity of the forum in general. Good news is that all of these devices are similar, so it shouldn't be hard to port to other devices like Note 5 and Edge+.

That video is part of @arter97 and other developers work. If you go to his twitter account you can see much more awesome pictures and videos. I am merely porting their work to T-Mobile devices. I have messaged the developer to see if I can help with getting CM working on the international variant. Should be soon, as in this weekend.

I just did a nandroid on my current setup, if you do boot it, can you tell me if you notice any FPS problems? I seem to have very low FPS on my device.

I did not have data, I am currently attempting to do a build from sources provided by @arter97 . I will see what I can do after that.

Sorry for butting in from the Sprint forums, but did you guys have A working touch screen after booting cm13? I did not have touch. It booted for my Sprint S6 edge by remove device assert checks.

It's probably the kernel...we need a Sprint specific one...I've already set it up...i just woke up so once I've got sources downloaded and 920/5P set up...I'll create a post in our forums...
