magicjack conflicts in 4.3 - Sony Xperia ZL

having upgraded to 4.3 FW (both 459 and 101) I got a problem with MagicJack app, I lost sound in such apps like Viber, Skype, Google translate and Google search - no voice input and no sound. Uninstalling magicjack solves the issue. there were no such problem in 4.1 and 4.2 Fws. I tried several ROMs, but the result is the same.
has anyone got the same problem and any idea how to resolve the issue?

the solution
After talking to MagicJack I was advised to wait till their make an update and fix the problem or downgrade to 4.2.

[Q] stop update notificaion from 4.1.2 to 4.2.x

EDIT: solved the issue with the update notification myself by changing the build.prop to fake an existing 4.2.1 - question about when Google will fix the bluetooth issues is still vaild
Hello,
after installing 4.2 and 4.2.1 bluetooth was broken. This seems to be a common bug and I waited for nearly one month for a bug fix from Google but nothing happened. So I decided to downgrade to 4.1.2 and now bluetooth works again. But since then the update notification requests me nearly every hour to update - which I definitely won't do until Google fixes bluetooth.
Any idea, when Google will fix bluetooth?
and until then:
How can I stop these update notifications? (i searched a lot in the forum and found some similar threads - but nothing really fitting to 4.1.2)
Thanks for your help!

3 bugs I have with ALL 4.2.1 roms.

Just wondering if these are problems everyone is facing, or just me, and if there is maybe a fix for some of them. They have been broke for MONTHS, and I can't figure out why I don't see more people talking about them, or why they haven't fixed them yet.
1. Bluetooth A2DP streaming is broke - Okay, this one I know is common knowledge, so we can skip this one. Supposed to be fixed officially by Google in 4.2.2. I can live with this.
2. The native WiFi hot-spot only works without encryption. All WiFi hot-spot apps from the Play Store are broken as well. Either you can't connect to the phone from your laptop/device, or the SSID isn't broadcasted at all, and you can't see it from anything.
3. When using a Google app that requires the microphone, whatever app you are using will crash. I have noticed this with Google Now, and most annoyingly the keyboard. The worst thing about this is that if you accidentally hit the mic key on the keyboard, the keyboard crashes, and it doesn't work again until you wipe the phone and re-install the Rom. Rebooting doesn't even solve it.
All three of these problems persist for me through out all the roms I have tried. This means CyanogenMod10.1, Kangdroid, PAC, Paranoid, Slimbean, etc. I know most of those are based on CM10.1, so that explains why they are all broke, but why have they been broke for so long, or is it just me?
Never seen #3 happen (I use it quit a bit). Wifi hotspot issue is known.

Yeah, that bug alone didn't happen when I first started using 10.1. Not sure when it started to be honest.
Update google search for the keyboard I think

That's very possible. It's one of the first things I try when I get the latest nightlies, so I probably try it each time before I have updated anything.
Is there any reason to think that the hot-spot issue will be resolved in 4.2.2?
Ya, and I don't know, it might be coding that is needed within AOSP, does wifi tether encrypted not work on the Nexus 4 or GNEX?
Just an update for anyone who is searching and finds this thread by some chance...
It looks like 4.2.2 did not fix the HotSpot issue, but it did fix the Bluetooth streaming. I tried the SmoothRom 4.2.2 release, to test these things.
PAC-man rom 4.2.1 is my current favorite rom, and they did somehow fix both of those issues recently. Probably had something to do with 4.2.2's release this week. So if someone is looking for a 4.2 rom with working Bluetooth, and WiFi tether encryption, you might want to give that rom a try.
It is right here:

4.2.2 has working everything. On Liquid Illusion you need to flash a custom kernel that is updated to have encrypted hotspot.

I've had #3 happen, and it can be fixed by clearing the data for the keyboard and the voice search (I don't remember if the voice search part was an app, but I remember looking for it). Just go to apps and wipe the data.

Thanks for the info, but updating to the newest Google App from the PlayStore fixed it for me.
Your solution would probably fix the need to reflash.

[Q] Z1 compact microphone problem

Hi, my phone is working fine during calls, but for some reason i can't send voice messages through facebook messenger and whatsapp. I check the microphone using the stock recorder and it is just fine. Is anyone else suffering this???
Are you connected through your home-WIFI or somehow else?
If somehow else
In Germany, many providers block audio-/video-over-the-mobile-interwebs in almost any of their flatrate plans. I'm not sure if that method can be (and is) applied to file transfers / voice messages (sending a recorded file instead of streaming your audio live) as well.
On a second thought, this thought may be BS, but who knows ...

Tried reverting to stock like user odl suggested for a tweaked stock rom (4.4.4) for Z1C (D5503) here with no change. Link to mod here

Google Voice Search can not connect with Google

Anyone have this issue. Happens to me on 1.2 and 2.0 firmware, stock or rooted. After a complete wipe and reinstall it works. I start installing my apps and along the way it stops. I have used the same combination of apps on several devices without issue. I guess I will have to turn off google auto restore and manually install every app and update and check it after each change.

Well I started removing anything that dealt with voice. It seems to be the Magic app, Magic Jacks void app. When running in the background it also seems to prevent Skype from connecting to calls too. Too bad, I'm using my OPPO on a data only plan and Skype has been really crappy lately but Magic Jack has been working great. All my calls come through Google voice and MJ rings 2 seconds before the home phone, Skype or regular AT&T cell service.
I guess I will post a complaint with Magic Jack. I use MJ more than voice search, I'll just live with it.

stock android6 play services keeps not responding

anyone else having issues?
the moment i reverted from a rooted OTA5.1 to a non-rooted OTA 6.0 i've been getting play services not responding. I finally did the OTA 6.0 update 10days ago.
I factory reset and still the same problem. I experienced no issues on the rooted OTA 5.1 so i dont think it's a hardware related issue.
looking around, this seems to come up often but no solution so i guess i'm looking for a "me too" to make me feel better that it's no isolated and an update will fix it..
found the problem by using safemode - one of the widgets it seems. probably the 2x1 graph widget of battery info with the '3C toolbox Pro' app as thats the only one not been restored.
