If I want to return my Note II to factory condition can I just flash the original firmware onto it?
Would there be any issues or do I have to unroot first, is there a risk of bricking it?
On my older Xperia's we used a program called flashtool to flash these firmwares and all you had to do was flash it and you were good as new. Is it like this on the Note II?
Thanks in advance

Hi all at T999 xda dev community, I flashed a wrong ROM as for mistake was in the T999 ROM folder.
It started with AROMA and then after wipe cache / dalvik my T-Mo T999 does not boot at all, not CWM not PC not nothing.
I even try ODIN 3.04 but nothing appears-
Any hint ?
Thanks in advance.

What were you trying to flash?
Are you going into download mode before attempting Odin? (Vol down, home, and power)?

What were you flashing? Sounds to be a hard brick, if you can't get into download or recovery mode then you're hard bricked.

Yes, it was flashing a S3 I9300 ROM on my T999, specifically the one at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1944035
then I tried all CMW options but nothing happend, no any recovery menu appears.
I think the only available option is a physical hardware JTAG reflash. I found some videos and info here,

Yup, you're hard bricked. Sorry. The mist common place we see folks use here is mobiletechvideos.com.
A month or so ago someone mentioned using a different place that was cheaper and was just as good. Can't remember more than that though. Hoping someone else does.

Hi everyone. I have a GT-I9300 Int'l version. The phone had worked previously with a custom rom, however' the previous owner tried to update through kies and now the phone is showing an error and asking to recover with kies. I tried that, and it fails. Also, i downloaded the stock rom for it from sammobile and the flash fails after about 2/3 of the way through.
How do i fix this?
I appreciate any and all help !
Do give you a heads up you are in the non international version of the sgs 3 forum. You need to go the international forum for the s3 for help. Using our methods can damage your phone.

So like many others I was excited to see the 4.3 update and without thinking twice i updated the system to 4.3
And now I am planning to sell my device but the byur wants the unrooted device. So I went ahead and tried to unroot it using Odin.
But while in the process it stopped and showed the error that the version is not supported and my phone got bricked. With the help of the awesome posts and people on xda i managed to unbrick my phone.
But the phone is still rooted and I cant find a way to unroot it.
So guys please help me out here.!!! And also I can not find latest firmware files to download for my phone. the latest 1 I have is I317UCAMA4. And I used Odin3 v1.85.
please help.
Never mind guys.. I figured it out!! Thanks anyways
