[Q] brightness control not working anymore

Hi guys.
Today I woke with my phone full of problems. I first noticed the screen darkr in the lower left area, but after a restart that went out...and othe ptoblems came. Now the screen in 100% bright all the time and my battery is being eaten alive. The brightness slider no longer works I.e sliding it doeant change anything and whenever I hit the power button to turn off the screen it shuts down the phone.
I slept with the phone the other night so I may have broken something. Has anyone foynd tnis before?
Its a sm p601 still on 4.3, rooted. Have it for some 6 months, this is the first issue im having. I rooted it day one ant its stable ever since

Literally the exact same thing happened to me just now. Lower corner screen darkened, and after reset I'm burning through the battery at a record pace with no way to lower brightness. Wish someone knew how to fix this

[Q] G2 acting up on screen turn on

Hi everyone
I have been using sprint g2 for a little over a month with no trouble until one day when it started acting up. So whenever my screen wakes up, be it after the knock code or after receiving a call, it shows a phantom touch right in the middle of the screen. My screen wouldnt recognise any touch till that phantom touch is gone. In order to get that gone, ive to generate interference by multitapping randomly for sometime which seems to solve the problem. Interestingly my screen works just fine after the phantom touch is gone even for prologed usage..but once the screen turns off (by doubble tapping for instance) n i wake it up later, the problem reappears..ive tried factory reset n custom roms to no avail. Oh n one more thing, when i restart my phone n the first time it shows the unlock screen, there's no phantom touch but as soon as the next tap on pr a call ends,the prob reappears.
Guys ive been reading all threads n couldnt find a Similar issue solved...ur help would save me from hating this otherwise awesome phone...thanks indeed.

LG G3 D855 - crazy screen?

Hello,
I use the last fullmics rom and i used it for atleast 8 months, but since yesterday my phone became crazy, if the screen goes off i need to put out my battery and put it on again! my screen brightness is always at 100% and i can't adjust it,
It's a known bug or it is a phone problem?

Try safe mode. See if its a rogue app

Unresponsive touch screen

Hi there, first of all I've seen some other threads which kind of have the same problem but not quite. So here is my problem my touch screen isn't responding most of the time, it started happening like a week ago when it froze while trying to send a picture in messenger, after 1-2 reboots it started working again but after that the same thing happened while I was typing in messenger, so I thought it might be software problem and made hard reset and installed new stock android(that didn't help). The last couple of days most of the time it's not working and I'm using it with a mouse, but there are periods when it works for some time. I've entered the hidden menu(without updating the touch firmware because I saw that it might kill it for good) to try and test it and had 2 different results
- The touch screen firmware version on my phone is -1
- And the one from the photos that I've attached(obviously during this one it actually worked for a couple of minutes)
Something else I've noticed while the touch isn't working when I turn off the screen from the power button first it dims the light for 2 seconds before really turning off.
Other things that I've tried are changing kernel, opening the back of the phone and reconnecting the screen to the motherboard(which helped the first time and it worked for 1 day or so but doesn't help since then) .
There is one more strange thing for some time now may be 3-4 months the phone has problems connecting to WiFi)
And one last thing after the screen problem the phone started booting quite slow some times and showing "Process System Not Responding'"
The phone is running on Stock V30b MM and hasn't been dropped for a long time
The problem is that I don't know is it software problem, screen problem or motherboard so any Ideas will be appreciated.

G3 is have weird problem any help?

hi folks i have got g3 and it was on stock rom. after few days it started a weird problem. whenever someone calls me the phones rings for a second and then turn off. then it doesnt turn on until i pull out the battery.
tried every custom rom,modded kernels,stock rom. but the problem is there. changed battery but that time it just turns off anytime when using it. Any help would be appreciated.
