Stock battery replacement

My original Galaxy W has experienced some bloating and I am looking to replace it with an official Samsung battery. Their website does not stock any batteries for the Galaxy W.
A quick look on Google has turned up one on ebay for around £9. This is coming from the UK and looks to be an official Samsung battery. At the moment, it's probably the one that I will go for.
Does anybody have any experiences of shopping for official Samsung batteries? Especially in the UK.

You could also try Amazon they can be cheaper than ebay sometimes

Thanks for the suggestion. The only official Samsung battery I can find on Amazon is £13. If it had a load of reviews I would probably consider it over the ebay option, in terms of trust, but it only has one review.

It is definitely a genuine, original item. No hassle with the transaction and my phone is much happier now
(the only thing I did notice is that the new battery has an older date of manufacture than the one it was replacing - not that it has made any difference to how well it works)

the first time i bought samsung official battery about 4months ago at SSC the price is $4,,next day after i bought it my dog bite it,, after a week i bought a new one $6,,same SSC, different price and different person. i dunno why the price is different

I`m interested in buying new battery too. But how can I know which battery is orriginal Samsung battery and which isn`t?

is that real 2450mAH, in normal size ?
some report if the battery more than 2200 capacity is bigger size than normal...
*like panda battery the information about battery have 2500mAH,but the real capacity is 1350mAH..
im still prefer propower / original samsung battery

I am from the UK and I wanted to buy the ZeroLemon Samsung Galaxy S III 7000mAh Extended Battery. It has got awesome reviews but unfortunately I am unable to buy it anywhere here in UK/Europe. Would anyone know where I could order to be imported to UK or is there anyone selling one on eBay?
I have tried to get in touch with Zerolemon without any success and I'd really like this extended battery

Me too but zerolemon have auto reply from email enquiries stating it will be available to from amazon marketplace early April.

Create your own post address in the USA
I had the same problem getting the Gorilla Gadgets battery shipped to Norway. I found a shipping service (JetCarrier) which allowed me to create my own post address i the U.S. The shipper forwarded the package to me in Norway. It cost about 20 euro's and took 5 weeks for a package up to 2 kgs. (worth it since i ordered 3 batteries and charger). Smooth process altogether. Maybe you could find a similar service provider in the UK.

Is it necessary to have another thread for the same battery? Why can't you just post your comment/question on the original Zerolemon 7000 mah thread? Next thing you know we will have a thread for each country about Zerolemon 7000 mah.

Maybe next time you could check before you ask? I didn't receive a reply to my comment and therefore decided to make a thread...

I asked them about Canadian shipping earlier this month. I would presume the answer is the same for UK availability.

Zerolemon has a shop (bastex wireless) on ebay which ships worldwide also got my battery using this way

you can't modify htc... no space.. that is why I have given up on htc devices

Yep Zerolemon website on ebay is the best place.
I tried Amazon, but not in stock and they no idea when it would be back in stock.
Ebay best place to order.
That where i got mine. it takes about 2 - 3 weeks for it to arrive, but well worth it.

I am waiting for mine. Any correct ways to charge and discharge this battery. Also I have read that you should not use the battery when it comes and charge it for 12-14 hours straight. Is that correct the battery be drained first and then charged

I have just purchased the Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 White colour on ebay.co.uk. I saw the seller pasted another seal on the box. I am considering about the battery coming with my handset. I am afraid that they replace the original battery. The battery they give me has a sentence Cell made in China and Assembled in China. I did searched information about batteries of Galaxy S4 but there is nothing like my battery. Apparently, all batteries of S4 are made in Korea or Vietnam. I attached the picture below. Could anyone help me this problem. Thanks so much.

I would say original battery would be best... I don't trust aftermarket stuff...
I have bought battery from "aliexpress" before and somehow the battery doesn't last...

I would suggest Ebay but both are reliable. Or most reliable source is samsung's site

I never imagined that it wasn't obvious that buying replacement batteries (or anything) from the carrier or the manufacturer was an option. Ever seen the price from them though ? $30-40 from Verizon. I wasn't aware that Samsung sold direct....

I would suggest Amazon if you can't find it directly from Samsung.
