Ballistic Maxx Case

not sure if this case has been posted. but i will decide outta this case and otterbox. probally will own both but here guys and gals take a look if u havent already.

I have this case/holster. it does have a ratcheting clip on the holster btw. anyway what I was gonna say is regarding the screen protector. I had a screen protector on my phone before getting this case. I tested out the screen responsiveness with the ballistic SP over my SP and it suffered badly. So i chose not to use it. Maybe I will try to remove my SP and try the ballistic SP on it one day.

This case is great,
Cons: Smells horrible, Smells like petroleum (which it is made of) if the phone is a foot away from me it is very potent.
Needs a kickstand.

What? My ballistic doesnt stink lol. Neither the sg maxx nor the every1 case. Btw i use my maxx without the screen plastic. I Hate them.

My maxx case came in the mail the other. I put it on right away just to find out the hard back cover doesn't stay on the rubber case. That sort of got me upset. Even the screen cover layer was a bit deformed. It was concave inward, not straight. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Its great. It's thin and durable (I use it without the optional outer rubber layer). Covers the ports of headphones and charger. There are also plastics films to protect the camera lens and flash lens. Only annoying hindering aspect would be the power button and home button. You need press with a bit of force. Taking it off is a hassle too, but I knew that when I purchased it. I popped off the built in screen protector since I have a zagg hd on mine, so I can't comment on that. It feels great and the kick stand isn't flimsy. Overall it is a great product.

Will amzer, or tempered glass screen protectors fit with siedio case?

Hey guys, since these are .4mm thick will that not work with a siedio surface case? will the top part not snap on because of this, or since its .4mm it will still work? They look so cool, would love to get one, if it would work

I have one coming from Glasszone, I'll let you know, as I have a surface case. Expect delivery between 9/24 and 9/29

The SGP one abould fit. It fit my Musubo Retro and my Otterbox Defender. I thought it wouldn't fit in neither case. I don't know about the others tho

I just read about both and liked what I had read about SGP... and actually, I bought the XGear Spectre and the Glasszone, they should both arrive about the same time and they're the same thickness. I don't know which one I will end up using, but I am never shy about buying "gadgets"... LOL
I think I'll hit each one with a hammer and which ever one survives, that's the one I will use.

I want the amzer. Might order it. Should fit hopefully

I spent some time forcing the Seidio Surface case over the GS3 with the .4mm thick screen protector on it. Although I was able to get it on, it doesn't fit very well at the seam where the top and bottom pieces meet on the back of the phone. It will have to do for now.

Screw it... I just took the xgear screen protector off and am back to a film protector. The thing was not responsive enough.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I think the red looks really nice on the silver/ white One, and the fit is excellent if you have the patience to align it correctly. Its cheap at £4.99 and I would imagine that it would last a decent amount of time as its stuck to the phone well. The delivery within the UK was next day for me, I'm not sure about other countries but I imagine it would not be too long.
Just waiting for my poetic now as it'll look pretty badass through the transparent back

That looks really great! I personally wouldn't go with the poetic atmosphere as the back isn't clear, it's a tad frosted. I would go with the poetic bumper. As a matter of fact, I'm going to order the skin and bumper now! Thanks for the pics!

The only problem with that is that if you decide to take the skin off then it might leave glue residue on the phone itself? Not sure but yeah, its looks good :good:

Nope I actually took it off 3/4 times to align it properly after it was fully stuck on, and theres no residue whatsoever. It actually doesnt seem to loose its adhesive but its not a glue on the back either, but it actually sticks really well to the phone

Yes my S-line clear tpu and black tpu case still fit on the phone with the skin on, it is a little bit more snug but none the less the cases still fit on the phone well.

Is that the best you could do with the htc logo? Or was it cut offset? I'd be annoyed if it was offset like that lol.

Pretty sure that's how the skin is made, with cut outs so the logo comes through. I love it....I would want that showing.
The dbrand skins for the nexus 4 have the cut outs for the "nexus" on the back as well.
So you wouldn't want the "htc" showing at all?

Official Asus travel case

I received my official Asus travel case yesterday and I love it. Not sure why people see complaining about it.
Yes it's flimsy, but only slightly.
I like the TPU material, as it is good for shock absorption and doesn't have metal magnets exposed that could possibly scratch the screen like the moko and poetic ones.

I like that it covers the bezel 360 degrees, since the bezel is cheap plastic and very prone to scratches, such as the picture below which was out of the box
I just miss the auto wake function, but I'm thinking about superglue-ing a magnet on the front to fix that

Thats the same case as they used on the 1st one isn't it, I had the 1st travel case and it was trash, the front cover was poor, wouldn't sit closed fully, if you opened it would try bounce back, its not a gel case, its a bit more solid, but for me it was the worse n7 case I had

I received my case yesterday and based on the reviews I saw, I was expecting the worst. Now that I've had it on my nexus 7, I love the case. Is it a little flimsy? Sure, but for me, I didn't buy it to be my everyday case. One thing I noticed is when my screen is on with the flap closed, the light does not shine through like the reviews said. It could be because I have the dark gray case.

This one actually kind of suctions on and stays put. I assume it's from the vacuum that is created with all the rubber seals
I also like how the cover doesn't actually sit on the screen, so if something gets stuck on the inner surface or screen, it won't scratch it

I just received this case yesterday (dark grey) and I'm finding it very flimsy and doesn't seem to hug the tablet enough. Its very rubbery/pliable so it doesn't hold its shape well....translating to sagging edges and just an overall floppy feel to it.
I'm traveling this weekend and thought "hey...its says travel case, I'll give it a go while I travel", now I'm not so sure I want to see how it stands up to the wears and tears of going through airports.
I really hope ballistic comes out with something for it...I have a ballistic case for my xoom and its solid as a rock...could chuck that thing down some stairs and it would be fine.

Mine seems to fit very well. Knowing Asus, they probably have no quality control to it, hence varying fits

I'm tempted to get one since I need something for an upcoming trip and the Moko case won't ship in time, but one thing that I find puzzling is that there's only one dark color for this travel case with the rest being bright. I don't know if it's just me, but when I'm traveling I want to have my devices be as less conspicuous as possible to someone else's eyes. At least with a phone you can pocket it and keep it out of view. I'm looking at this from a pure marketing standpoint. Why not a brown, navy or hunter green unit.. or even a dark maroon? I can see wanting to have something eye catching when you're at home and need something easy to spot in a cluttered work area, but not for traveling.

I got mine yesterday, and I'm OK with it. I've preordered a case from Poetic, so this will do until that one comes in a couple of weeks.

Haven't received mine yet but i had the original travel case on my 1st gen Nexus 7 and i loved it.

Orzly Fusion Bumper Case for OnePlus Two w/ Video

Hi all, just came across this video for the Orzly OnePlus Two fusion bumper case. By far one of the cases I've been waiting to see, glad they've finally got a video up of it. I had one for the OnePlus One and liked that you could still see the back but was well protected around the edges and back with the crystal.
Anyone else going to be getting this case for their OP2?

Yeah I did, had to email 3 times now. I think they are sending another one

To everybody ordering from Amazon UK, my case took 16 days from time of ordering to arrive. I sent an email to G Hub and to be fair, I did get a response after a few hours.
They offered to send me another one out as they reckon the first was lost in the post, so I agreed. They said they would send it signed for (to ensure delivery) on 28/08/15 and it only just arrived yesterday (05/09/2015.) It wasn't signed for, and it arrived with a 24 hour postage stamp on meaning that they only got around to sending it out on 04/09.
Very disappointed with it to be honest, the packaging was tatty and unsealed and the fit of the case was subpar. It was loose around the edges of my OnePlus 2 and it made the volume rocker a real challenge to use.
I would not recommend buying a Fusion Bumper case, but if you must do, then do do not order from G Hub.

Here's an update on my order/case/situation (whatever you wanna call it.)
Another Fusion Bumper case turned up today from G Hub (I assume this is the second one that they sent out after the first being "lost in post") and the fit is actually a lot better than the first one I received. The packaging is also tidy and neat this time round.
Overall, I'm much happier than I was before. I still wouldn't recommend ordering from G Hub though as their delivery times are insane.

Another Fusion Bumper case turned up today from G Hub (I assume this is the second one that they sent out after the first being "lost in post") and the fit is actually a lot better than the first one I received. The packaging is also tidy and neat this time round.
Overall, I'm much happier than I was before. I still wouldn't recommend ordering from G Hub though as their delivery times are insane.

The fit is absolutely fine with my rosewood and black apricot backs. I think they've designed the case to be used with the thicker, wooden backs to be honest.
I'll see how it fits with my sandstone back on later because it feels just right with a wooden back on, so I assume it may feel a little loose with the thinner swapstyle cover on. I could be wrong though.

Thanks man. I have the kevlar back on now and my orzly fusion bumper case would be here tomorrow. I hope it fits well with the kevlar styleswap on.

No problem mate. Friend of mine has the kevlar back on his 1+2 and he has this case (his arrived yesterday) and he told me that it fits really well. I'll see for myself on Friday evening when I next see him, but I trust his judgement so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Hmm which one would you have preferred to have. I have the open button on but I feel like the closed one will proved a little more protection of the frame which is the main part I want to protect

There's no close button version of the Orzly Fusion Bumper case. U might want to take a look at Rearth Ringke fusion if that's the case

The fusion case are great accessory to have and the new version have scratch resistant coating, to users who have been using it how is coating is it really protecting you against scratches or it is stll a scratch magnet like the older ones would love to know
Also in India unfortunately very few colors available however black and transparent are not on Amazon India

I just ordered the red one from amazon.in, I am concerned about the cover's back getting scratches. Any existing user can comment ?

It does scratches and I'm pretty certain all other cases with a transparent back will scratch too. But the scratches in the Orzly Fusion Bumper case is less visible. I'm using it right now.

Hi it does scratch do it may not be scratch magnet as the previous version but please note all tpu or transparent case even hard plastic will scratch the hight quality ones will have scratch more visible because the tranasparency ration is pretty high, however they are great cases and anyways you not going to use them forever just go ahead and buy them
