[TUTORIAL] build a usb otg cable very simply

Here in pictures simple installation for atrix :

a mouse or a keyboard or a USB key ,
works very well in 2.3.6, works very well under CM7, and more ...

Connect to tv with HDMI cable

I have the adaptor for mini usb to hdmi but the signal does not go to the tv even if I am following all the instructions of the manual. May be could be a setting but I can't find it.
Somebody knows what could be the problem?

Check with other HDMI cable. I do not know why but it does not work with all cables. Hovewer the one it works in my home is a very basic, cheap cable so I do not advice to buy any expensive cable. Just try other basic cable.

Can micro usb cable plug in moto z play ?

Hi,
I am yet to receive moto z play by monday. I have a quick charge 3.0 charger which i am using with htc one m8. Its cable has micro usb pin. So can that cable plug in moto z play which has usb type-c ??
I am asking this as i would want to compare the charging speed of the turbo charger that i will get and this tronsmart quick charge 3.0 .
Will highly appreciate the reply.

You'll need a micro USB to USB type c plug adapter. Micro USB will not just plug in.

It's puzzling how some people can even ask if two completely different connectors can be connected together. I mean, what happened to common sense?

I may be coming close to you in unsolicited brashness yet here you are spamming this person. I did ask a legitimate Q which you ignored: About OTG working, you said "OTG is working fine for me."
How so? Are you rooted? If so , I am not. So nevermind.
If stock then: can you use a music player that plays "through" OTG? Which one?
If you don't expect players to read OTG storage, nevermind.

The first is data and charging. The 2nd OTG no charge.
This one is like 1st but OTG , no charge.

right, i am only using the turbo charger, and gave my quick charger to my sister, not of any good use.

USB Data Cable (for Moto Z Play) no detection with PC

Hello Everyone,
I bought a Cable Data and Charge USB 3 Type C for Motorola Moto Z Play (Written like this on the product description) but when i plug it in PC, there is no detection (no "ding dong", nothing in peripherals manager).
The seller change it because he thought it was defective, but same thing with the second cable. I tried on 2 PC, USB2 and USB3 ports...
Is there anything to activate in settings (i don't think) ?

Mi 9 SE defect USB Port?

Hello guys,
maybe somebody can help me with my strange problem...
Since a few days, my phone doesnt get recognized via USB anymore.
I tried the following things to get it to work:
Change multiple cables, USB Ports and Computers
Reinstalled the last update to ensure i didnt corrupt the OS
Cleaned the Port on the Phone carefully
Used USB-Debugging
Change Standard Mode for USB to MTP
The phone doesnt get recogniced even by task manager, so installing other or new drivers is no option.
It doesnt matter if I am in OS, Recovery or Bootloader, there is absolutely no reaction by the phone or the PC.
The strange thing is, that the phone is charging normally and even my usb-c to 3.5mm Adapter is working fine.
Somebody an idea what I could try to do now?? (I already searched for replacement ports, but i couldnt find an affordable one to try)

Mine is charging really slow since two weeks. I dont know if this is due to a software bug or a hardware problem. So, maybe your problem is a software bug - due to the fact that your phone is charging with normal speed.

If this is the case, how can i flash the previous version without a data connection? Because downgrading is not supported by the MIUI updater anymore.

Have you tried to reverse the usb-c plug. I have seen strange things happen when reversing the plug. In one direction it is impossible to get a connection to the computer - in the other direction it worked.

Yeah already tried that while testing different cables and USB Ports.

Mine started to charge slowly and usb connection stopped working. Are you sure that QuickCharge still works for you?
I sent the device to repair center. The board with USB port has been replaced and everything is fine now.
